WISH Showcase held
Roughly 300 people attended Thursday night's annual WISH Showcase academic fair at the Casey Middle School gym. At the event, more than 100 projects were on display on the gym floor, covering the topics of writing, invention, science and history. The projects were created by kindergarten through eighth grade students at District 80 Schools and St. Mary School, with the help of their parents. The top ten project winners were recognized at Thursday's showcase, as were the finalists and winners for the Young Author competition.Continued ...
