Mt. Vernon Police Department


Arrests

Ivory B. Patton, 33, of the 300 block of South 19th Street was arrested at 2:39 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of contempt of court. Patton was released.

Bridgett K. Neal, 21, of the 2400 block of Forest Avenue was arrested at 3:25 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of domestic battery and interfering with a report of domestic violence.

Curtis D. Sanders, 36, of the 600 block of Perkins Avenue was arrested at 3:26 a.m. Wednesday on charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving and aggravated fleeing or eluding police.

Theft

Someone from the 100 block of Opdyke Avenue reported a theft at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday.

Incidents

A female in the 2700 block of Colonial Drive reported being battered at 12:24 p.m. Tuesday. She reported she would come to the police station later for a statement.

A resident of the 200 block of Castleton Avenue reported at 3:21 p.m. Tuesday that her daughter had been receiving explicit voice mails on her cell phone from someone she didn’t know.

An employee of Grand Buffet VI reported at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday that someone had kicked in the back door of the business.

A resident of the 1600 block of Forest Avenue reported Wednesday morning he and his wife were being attacked by their daughters. One adult female and one juvenile female were taken into custody.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department


Arrests

Noelle J. Harris, 24, of Bravard Place was arrested at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday on an in-state warrant.

Dean A. Dennis, 17, of Bonnie was arrested at 12:19 p.m. Tuesday on charges of residential burglary and criminal trespass to a residence.

Theft

A burglary was reported in the 500 block of East Union in Waltonville at 10:17 a.m. Tuesday.

Someone reported at 11:11 a.m. Tuesday of seeing someone stealing copper wire near East Propeller Road, Richview.

Incidents

Three runaways were reported at 7:48 p.m. Tuesday in the 170000 block of North Illinois 37.
