Charges filed


Dennis Ray Boss Jr., 34, of the 300 block of North 16th Street was charged with domestic battery for allegedly grabbing a family member by the back of the neck and throwing her across a porch on July 5.

Eric W. Neal, 24, of the 1000 block of South 21st Street was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of cannabis for allegedly having a drug pipe and between 2.5 and 10 grams of cannabis on June 6.

Samantha J. Forrest, 18, of the 14200 block of East Salem Church Road was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling and cursing at a person in a manner to alarm them on June 7.

Sherri M. Moss, 51, of the 200 block of Walnut Street was charged with criminal trespass to a residence and battery for allegedly entering a home on Burke Street in Bluford and choking a woman with her hands on July 3.

Robert L. Herrod, 36, of the 600 block of Perkins Avenue was charged with burglary for allegedly breaking into King City Cash and Pawn on April 17.

Adam R. Poston, 29, of the 12800 block of North Blackhawk Lane was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly making a report to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office that someone had tampered with a power box on April 25 while having no reasonable grounds that the incident had actually happened.

Brandi R. Heck, 19, of the 200 block of Casey Avenue was charged with unlawful possession of a methamphetamine precursor and unlawful possession of methamphetamine for allegedly have a quantity of pseudoephedrine and less than 5 grams of methamphetamine on July 7.

Steven R. Myers, 20, of the 200 block of Casey Avenue was charged with unlawful possession of a methamphetamine precursor for allegedly having a quantity of pseudoephedrine on July 7.

Frank L. Hails, 48, of the 15100 block of North Fairdrive Lane, Woodlawn, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly having less than 15 grams of crack cocaine and a metal straight pick used for inhaling crack cocaine on July 8.

Alfred L. Stambaugh, 50, of the 1700 block of South 15th Street was charged with unlawful restraint, domestic battery, unlawful interference with the reporting of domestic violence and criminal damage to property for allegedly refusing to let a family member leave her home; holding her by the neck, pushing her, grabbing her by the wrist, head butting her and pinning her to the couch; grabbing her cell phone and bending it to prevent her from contacting 911 emergency services; and damaging the tire or tires of her vehicle, all on July 8.

Judson R. Connaway, 20, of the 12800 block of East Dix-Texico Road, Texico, was charged with unlawful production of cannabis sativa plants for allegedly growing more than 200 plants on June 6.
