Charges filed

Angela M. Davenport, 17, of the 900 block of Welkins Avenue, was charge with battery for allegedly hitting a person in the face with her fists on April 28.

William A. Hill, 35, of Salem, was charged with retail theft for allegedly taking fishing supplies from Wal-Mart on April 9.

Bobby L. Barbee II, 28, of the 1400 block of South 13th Street, was charged with theft for allegedly taking an Igloo dog house, chain, two hooks, a padlock and four step stones from a man on May 7.

Linda M. Bigley, 35, of the 19700 block of North Miller Lake Lane, was charged with deceptive practices for allegedly writing a bad check to Bluford Grocery in the amount of $110 on March 24.

Zachary E. Bruggar, 22, of the 200 block of Jones Street in Woodlawn, was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a drug pipe on June 6.

Aaron D. Clark, 26, of the 400 block of Harrison Street, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis for allegedly having under 2.5 grams of the drug on June 6.

Bryan K. Woods, 17, of the 19200 block of Village Lane, was charged with theft and unlawful possession of cannabis for allegedly taking $35 from a person and having under 2.5 grams of cannabis on May 6.

Leonard R. Steward, 76, of the 400 block of East Broadway, was charged with unlawful violation of an order of protection for allegedly sending flowers on May 27 to a person who had an order against him.

Deonna Schreiber, 60, of the 1800 block of Harlan Road, was charged with deceptive practices for allegedly writing a bad check to Tuxedo Korner for $96 on Feb. 29.

Brian J. Overby, also known as Brian Richardson, of Lemay, Mo., was charged with theft for allegedly driving off without paying for $48.23 in fuel from Ron’s One Stop on May 3.

Larry L. Hardig Jr., 44, of the 20100 block of North Miller Lake Lane in Texico, was charged with unlawful violation of an order of protection for allegedly calling a person who had an order against him on May 15.

Andre T. Davis, 21, of the 900 block of Westcott Street, was charged with criminal trespass to state supported land and resisting a peace officer for allegedly going onto Housing Authority of Jefferson County property and refusing to stop when ordered to do so by an officer and continuing to go into an apartment on June 7.

Heather R. Crabtree, 17, of Centralia, was charged with retail theft for allegedly taking various items with a value less than $150 from Sears on June 6.

Christina L. Crabtree, 19, of Centralia, was charged with retail theft for allegedly taking various items with a value less than $150 from Sears on June 6.

Christopher S. Anderson, 22, of the 700 block of Salem Road, was charged with battery for allegedly hitting a woman in the face with his fist on May 3.

Joevon E. Taylor, 23, of the 300 block of Castleton, was charged with obstructing a peace officer for allegedly refusing to stop and ran away from a police officer who was investigating a traffic infraction on June 3.

Anthony K. Garrison, 24, of the 1100 block of South 26th Street, was charged with domestic battery for allegedly grabbing a family member by the throat, throwing her to the ground and kicking her in the stomach in the presence of a child on June 26.

Alvan M. Taylor, 48, of the 700 block of South 18th Street, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis for allegedly having under 2.5 grams of the drug on June 11.

Levi T. Phillips, 29, of the 17100 block of North Timberline Lane, was charged with domestic battery for allegedly slapping a family member in the face with his fist on July 15.

Terrell Cooks, 21, of the 100 block of Elm Street in Ina, was charged with forgery for allegedly trying to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at King Barbacoa on July 11.

Daniel Montgomery, 18, of the 44800 block of North Cranberry in Bonnie, was charged with forgery for allegedly trying to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at Arby’s on July 10.

Trevel J. Carpenter, 21, of the 1500 block of Logan Street, was charged with aggravated battery for allegedly hitting a person in the face with his fist on July 16.
