Incidents

Police received a report at 9:04 a.m. Thursday that property was damaged overnight in the 800 block of Ellis Drive.



Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department

Arrests

Tatiana A. Smith, 26, of the 800 block of South 17th Street, was arrested at 10:04 a.m. Wednesday on charges of delivery of a controlled substance-cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school or park and possession of a controlled substance. Bond for Smith has been set at $57,500.

Incidents

A resident in the 200 block of West South Street in Dix reported at 4:24 p.m. Wednesday that a person on a 4-wheeler rode through his garden.



Illinois State Police

Arrests

Michael P. Barnett, 38, of Park Hills, Mo., was arrested at 6:17 p.m. Wednesday on charges of possession of a methamphetamine precursor, possession of between 2.5 and 10 grams of cannabis and possession of methamphetamine.
