Arrests

Verlin D. Jones, 40, of the 500 block of South 24th Street, was arrested at 6:38 a.m. Friday on a charge of aggravated domestic battery. Bond for Jones was set at $15,000.

Billy R. Rawls, 25, of the 200 block of Walnut Street, was arrested at 12:28 a.m. Saturday on a charge of domestic battery. Bond for Rawls was set at $7,500.

Raymond J. Schneider, 17, of the 1300 block of North Ninth Street was arrested at 2:13 a.m. Saturday on charges of contempt of court and resisting a peace officer. Bond for Schneider was set at $1,000.

David D. Weatherall, 18, of the 2600 block of Benton Road, was arrested at 7:51 a.m. Saturday on charges of criminal trespass to a residence and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Bond for Weatherall was set at $10,000.

Randall M. Williams, 50, of the 400 block of Main Street, was arrested at 8:05 p.m. Saturday on a charge of criminal trespass to a building. Bond for Williams was set at $1,000.

Bruce D. Thomas, 43, of the 700 block of South 21st Street, was arrested at 2:35 p.m. Sunday on a charge of violation of an order of protection. Bond was set at $5,000 and Thomas was released.

Shameka Lloyd, 25, of Chicago, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. Sunday on a charge of retail theft under $150 and an in-state warrant. Bond for Lloyd was set at $1,000.

Billy G. Ollie, 41, of the 1200 block of South 15th Street, was arrested at 11:24 p.m. Sunday on charges of driving while license suspended or revoked and fleeing/attempting to elude police. Bond was set at $1,000 and Ollie was released.

Kendall A. James, 25, of the 1000 block of Jones Street, was arrested at 8:10 a.m. Monday on charges of obstructing an officer and resisting a peace officer. Bond for James was set at $1,000.

Jorge J. Gonzalez, 18, of the 1600 block of Isabella Street, was arrested at 2:52 p.m. Monday on a charge of retail theft. Bond was set at $1,000 and Gonzalez was released.

Lee V. Davis, 28, of the 1000 block of South Sixth Street was arrested at 10:19 p.m. Monday on an in-state warrant. Davis was released.

Jeffrey L. Currie, 23, of the 900 block of South 20th Street was arrested at 3:19 a.m. Tuesday on charges of obstructing justice and obstructing an officer.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office

Thefts

A resident of the 4800 block of East Tempe Road, Woodlawn, reported at 3:30 p.m. Sunday that a shed had been burglarized.

Incidents

A resident of North Matisse Lane, Bonnie, reported at 1:44 p.m. Sunday that a female and a child were riding on a green Honda all terrain vehicle on that road.

The JCSO received a report at 2:20 p.m. Sunday that someone was riding a four-wheeler on West Campground Road in Bonnie.

Someone from the 9500 block of East Redwood Road reported telephone harassment at 12:16 a.m. Monday.

Improper all terrain vehicle operation on Louie Avenue in Bluford was reported to the JCSO at 3:14 p.m. Monday.

A resident from the 100 block of East Galaxy Drive, Woodlawn, reported at 9:11 p.m. Monday that she had arrived home and found dried silly string all over her vehicle.

A resident from the 300 block of North Jackson, Dix, reported at 7:08 p.m. Tuesday of receiving a threatening phone call.
