Arrests

James D. Lenard, 61, of the 800 block of South 25th Street, was arrested at 10:44 a.m. Friday on a warrant charging failure to appear.

n Jacob L. Phillips, 19, Woodlawn, was arrested at 5:34 p.m. Friday on a charge of fleeing or attempting to elude police and driving while license suspended/revoked.

n Michael C. Johnston, 58, of the 1400 block of Wilshire Drive, was arrested at 7:37 p.m. Friday on a charge of aggravated battery.

n Lanale M. Dupree, 40, of the 400 block of South 15th Street, was arrested at 7:22 a.m. Saturday on a charge of retail theft.

n Theodore R. Jefferson, 23, of the 400 block of South 27th Street, was arrested at 2:54 p.m. Saturday on charges of resisting/obstructing police and driving while license suspended/revoked.

n Zia D. Flowers, 20, of the 800 block of George, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Saturday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Antwanette L. Doggan, 22, of the 18000 block of East Clearview Road, was arrested at 12:16 a.m. Sunday on a warrant charging failure to appear and driving while license suspended/revoked.

n Caleb P. Ramos, 19, of the 600 block of South 17th Street, was arrested at 12:59 a.m. Sunday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Chamarco D. Johnson, 33, of the 1000 block of South Sixth Street, was arrested at 4:33 a.m. Sunday on a warrant charging failure to appear.

n Keith L. Harris, 42, of the 600 block of South 15th Street, was arrested at 4:14 p.m. Sunday on a charge of retail theft.

n Chandra J. Ballard, 41, Woodlawn, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Sunday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.

n Kenneth W. McKinney Jr., 37, of the 1100 block of South 12th Street, was arrested at 10:51 p.m. Sunday on a charge of driving under the influence.

n Champagne L. Turner, 27, of the 500 block of South 20th Street, was arrested at 11:54 p.m. Sunday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.

n Clayton L. Anderson, 18, of the 2000 block of Richview Road, was arrested at 3:55 a.m. Monday on four counts of calling in false alarms.

Thefts

n A female caller asked to file a police report at 10:38 p.m. Wednesday regarding items that had been stolen from her purse while it was inside her vehicle. At the time of the theft, the vehicle was parked at a business in the 100 block of Davidson Avenue.

n A taxi driver requested an officer at 4:48 a.m. Thursday after a fare refused to pay for services rendered.

n An employee of the Family Dollar on South 10th Street reported at 2:40 p.m. Thursday a woman left the store without paying for items.

n A woman reported at 9:17 p.m. a theft at her residence in the 1200 block of South 22nd Street.

n A woman reported at 2:50 p.m. Saturday her cell phone was allegedly stolen while she was shopping in the 100 block of Davidson Avenue.

n A man told police at 6 p.m. Saturday a woman went to the reporting person’s sister house in the 500 block of South 20th Street and allegedly took a phone, money and clothes.

n A man reported two bicycles stolen from a residence in the 4100 block of Willow Springs sometime Friday night.

n A male subject allegedly left a sporting goods store at Times Square Mall around 3:15 p.m. Sunday without paying for merchandise. The man was located and arrested by police.

Incidents

A female caller told police at 4:07 a.m. Sunday a residence in the 1000 block of South 22nd Street had been burglarized.

n A woman told police at 6:43 a.m. Sunday her female roommate had allegedly been battered by a male subject known to both women.

n A woman told police at 11:25 a.m. Sunday her purse had been stolen from a vehicle while parked in the 100 block of Juniper.

n A woman told police at 7:14 p.m. Sunday she returned home to find her residence in the 1100 block of South 23rd Street had been burglarized.

Accident

Management at Sonic in the 4800 block of Broadway told police at 11:46 a.m. Saturday a semi driver pulled through their lot and damaged an awning.

Arrests

Bryson P. Redpath, 18, of the 14800 block of East Clearview Road, was arrested at 6:42 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of operating an uninsured vehicle.

n Jeremy D. Smith, 28, Dix, was arrested at 11:50 a.m. Friday on a warrant charging failure to appear.

n Faith M. Hughey, 45, Belle Rive, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Saturday on charges of domestic battery and resisting/obstructing arrest.

n Thomas L. Hughey, 25, Belle Rive, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. Saturday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Amanda M. Albright, 33, of the 1500 block of Triangle, was arrested at 10:55 a.m. Sunday on a charge of violation of probation.

n Shelly M. Young, 38, Opdyke, was arrested at 7:07 p.m. Saturday on a charge of battery.

Incidents

A man told police at 7:38 a.m. Thursday his residence in the 10400 block of East Boyd Road was burglarized Wednesday night by a woman known to him. The suspect reportedly stole $30,000 worth of jewelry.

n A case of criminal damage to property was reported at 8:50 a.m. Thursday in the 17,800 block of North Journey Lane. A road sign indicating a curve was run over and damaged.

n Several mailboxes were reported damaged at 11:48 a.m. Thursday in the 19500 block of North Moonbeam Lane.

Accident

Deputies responded to the report of a one-vehicle rollover at 3:56 a.m. Sunday on Illinois Highway 37 at Davis Road. Police logs stated the vehicle was stuck on the Union Pacific railroad tracks. One person was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment of injuries.
