Arrests

Timothy L. Boyd, 25, of the 600 block of South 12th Street, was arrested at 8:07 p.m. Friday on charges of driving with no license and possession of a controlled substance.

n Jeremy M. Pitchford, 23, of the 12000 block of North Seven Mile Lane, was arrested at 12:39 a.m. Saturday on a warrant for failure to appear.

n Justin B. Larcom, 25, of the 700 block of White Street, was arrested at 5:47 a.m. Saturday on a charge of domestic battery.

n Ketarius S. Peoples, 21, of the 500 block of Broadway, was arrested at 8:04 p.m. Saturday on a charge of domestic battery.

n Larry D. Yarbrough, 39, of the 1000 block of South 25th Street, was arrested at 11:56 p.m. Saturday on a charge of disorderly conduct.

nWilliam C. Lamont, 34, of the 300 block of Cedar Drive, was arrested at 12:44 a.m. Sunday on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Incidents

A woman told police at 7:35 a.m. Friday someone busted out a car window while it was parked in the 700 block of South 13th Street.

n A woman told police at 10:17 a.m. Friday she discovered rings missing from a residence in the 3300 block of Jamison Boulevard.

n An officer was requested at a business in the 400 block of South 44th Street at 1:48 p.m. Friday in reference to the business receiving bad checks.

n An officer arrested a female juvenile for alleged battery at 3:28 p.m. Friday at the “H” Building on the campus of Mt. Vernon Township High School.

n A woman reported at 4:48 p.m. Friday the theft of a television from a parked car while parked either in the 300 block of Castleton Avenue or the 1800 block of Conger Avenue.

n A female resident of the 3200 block of Lime Avenue told police at 7:51 p.m. Friday she discovered a burglary.

n A woman reported at 4:32 a.m. Saturday she was allegedly battered by a male subject in the 400 block of South 20th Street.

n A woman requested police at 11:23 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Potomac Boulevard in reference to an alleged battery of a male family member.

n Police responded to the report of an alleged battery of a male subject at 1:49 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of South 10th Street.

n A woman reported at 1:02 p.m. Sunday she discovered a residence had been burglarized in the 1400 block of South Ninth Street.

n A woman told police at 6:52 p.m. Sunday a vehicle had been broken into at a business in the 4500 block of Broadway, and items were taken.

n Personnel at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center requested an officer at 12:01 a.m. Monday in reference to a female subject who alleged she was the victim of a battery occurring at an unknown location in town.

Thefts

A woman told police shortly before 8 a.m. Friday a sweater and cross necklace were missing from her residence in the 1800 block of Lake Street.

n A male subject reported at 8:17 a.m. Friday his vehicle had been burglarized while parked in the 200 block of Potomac Boulevard.

n A woman told police at 10 a.m. Friday a bicycle had been taken from a residence in the 4000 block of Willow Springs.

n An employee of a motel in the 200 block of Potomac Boulevard requested an officer at 10:56 a.m. Saturday in reference to an ex-employee who allegedly was stealing from the business.

n Loss prevention employees from Kroger reported at 6:24 p.m. Friday two female juveniles were taken into custody for alleged shoplifting.

n A woman told police at 1:15 a.m. Saturday that several items were taken from her purse the previous evening from a residence in the 400 block of South 20th Street.

n An employee of T.A. Travel Center, 4500 block of Broadway, requested an officer at 12:20 p.m. Saturday for an alleged theft, stating a semi driver left without paying for a truck repair bill.

n A woman told police at 3:52 p.m. Saturday a bicycle was taken from a store front in the 800 block of South 10th Street.

n An employee of the Circle K location on South 10th Street reported at 9:30 a.m. Sunday they had a shoplifter the previous day and discovered it while reviewing video.

Arrests

Fay L. Hernandez, 36, Opdyke, was arrested at 7:17 p.m. Saturday on charges of domestic battery and interfering with a report of domestic violence.

n Raymond J. Scheider, 20, of the 600 block of South 16th Street, was arrested at 12:31 a.m. Sunday on charges of obstruction of identification and possession of a controlled substance.

Incidents

A man called authorities at 11:15 p.m. Friday to report his 21-year-old daughter missing from a Woodlawn address. The man reported his daughter was last seen around noon at a residence on East Bloomfield Road.

Thefts

A 2003 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen overnight Saturday in the 16000 block of North Boyd Lane. A subject reported the keys were left inside the vehicle. A wallet was also stolen.

Arrest

Perry E. Franklin, 40, Chicago, was arrested at 1:32 a.m. Saturday on a warrant for failure to appear and driving while license suspended/revoked.
