Incidents

A resident in the 2400 block of Veterans Memorial Drive reported th small of cannabis in the area at 10:36 a.m. Wednesday.

n A wallet was found in the 1200 block of South 23rd Street at 11:53 a.m. Wednesday.

n Police received a report at 2:52 p.m. Wednesday of a trespassing incident in the 600 block of South 20th Street.

n A motorist at 12th and Perkins reported to police at 9:46 p.m. Wednesday a man had pointed a gun at her as he walked around her vehicle.

n Police received a report at 10:48 p.m. Wednesday that a man had been battered while on South Ninth Street.

n An illegal burn was reported at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday int he 1100 block of South 23rd Street.

n Gunshots or fireworks were reported heard int eh 1500 block of South 13th Street at 1:15 a.m. Thursday.

n A resident in the 4300 block of Rose Lane reported a prowler banging on doors and windows to police at 7:19 p.m. on Thursday.

n Police received a report at 8:16 p.m. Thursday that someone had shot out the front window of a home in the 400 block of South 18th Street.

Thefts

Police received a report at 9 a.m. on Wednesday of a burglary in the 900 block of South 21st Street.

n A resident in the 400 block of South 34th Street reported at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday a debit card had been used fraudulently.

n Police received a report at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday of a TV and other items stolen from a home in the 700 block of Dewey Avenue.

n An employee of Kroger reported a theft had happened at about 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

n Police received a report at 10:01 a.m. Thursday of a battery stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1700 block of Stanley Avenue.

n A generator was reported stolen at 2:56 p.m. Thursday from a residence in the 1000 block of South 25th Street.

Arrests

Nathaniel Jamison, 20, of the 300 block of South Second Street, was arrested 4:04 p.m Thursday on charges of burglary.

n Stephen Vaughan, 43, of the 700 block of South 18th Street, was arrested at 12:54 a.m. Friday on charges of violating bail. Bond for Vaughan was set at $5,000.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office

Incidents

Deputies responded to a report of a cow on the roadway on Divide Road between Tolle and Miller Lane Lane at 4:10 p.m. Thursday.

n Gunshots were reportedly heard in the 1400 block of East Lake Estates at 7:43 p.m. Thursday.

Thefts

An air conditioner was reported stolen at 9:27 a.m. Thursday from a residence in the 16700 block of East Illinois Highway 15.

A burglary was reported to deputies at 3 a.m. Thursday from a resident in the 15000 block of Illinois Highway 37.

A residential burglary was reported at 6:20 a.m. Thursday int he 15600 block of Cooks Drive.

A burglary with money missing from a residence in the 15000 block of North Illinois Highway 27 was reported at 8:32 a.m. Thursday.

Deputies received a report of a burglary in the 12400 E. Loop Rd.

Arrests

Richard A. Green, 33, of the 19000 block of North Illinois Highway 37 was arrested on charges of aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon and possessing a firearm with no valid firearm owners identification.
