Arrests

Timmesha M. Heard, 30, of the 1000 block of South 12th Street, was arrested at 2:36 p.m. Monday on a charge of violating the sex offender registration.

Incidents

A woman reported at 9:48 a.m. Monday her car was keyed while parked at her residence on Bravard Place.

n An employee of the United Methodist Children’s Home on Richview Road reported at 12:23 p.m. Monday an adult ward of the state as a missing person. The missing person was entered into the national LEADS data system.

Thefts

A woman told police at 12:30 p.m. Monday she had $250 and an I-pod stolen from her residence in the 500 block of North 15th Street.

n A man who hosted a small party at his residence in the 2000 block of Broadway on Saturday told police at 2:04 p.m. Monday he discovered a laptop and prescription medications missing.

n An employee of Byrd-Watson, 1200 Main St., told police at 2:47 p.m. Monday a woman failed to bring back rental equipment, and when contacted, failed to respond to messages.

n A woman reported at 4:10 p.m. Monday the theft of a bicycle in the 400 block of South Fourth Street.

Waltonville Fire Department responded to a report of a utility pole and transformer on fire in the 3800 block of Illinois Highway 148 at 9:45 p.m. Monday. Fire personnel tapped the fire out at 10:02 p.m., jail logs state.
