Ketarius S. Peoples, 21, of the 500 block of Broadway, was formally charged April 29 with domestic battery. Records state the defendant poked a family member in the face and struck her in the back of the neck with his hand.

n Justin Larcom, 24, of the 700 block of White Street, was formally charged April 30 with domestic battery. Records state the defendant ripped the shirt of a female family member and held her on the ground against her will.

n Donovan R. Grissom, 25, of the 2400 block of Casey Avenue, was formally charged April 29 with battery. Records state the defendant allegedly struck a man in the face with his fist.

n Jacob D. Wagner, 24, Bonnie, was formally charged May 2 with unlawful delivery of methamphetamine. Records state on Jan. 31 the defendant delivered less than 2.5 grams of meth to a confidential source of the Mt. Vernon Police Department.

n Anthony T. Wilborn, 35, of the 1300 block of South 18th Street, was formally charged May 2 with unlawful possession of cannabis. Records state on May 2 the defendant had in his possession not more than 2.5 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

n Rickey Wagers, 46, of the 8700 block of North Goshen Lane, was formally charged May 2 with unlawful possession of cannabis. Records state on April 30, the defendant had more than 2.5 grams, but less than 10 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

n Tyrell K. Williams, 27, of the 400 block of South 17th Street, was formally charged May 2 with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Records state on March 29 the defendant possessed a metal pipe with the intent to inhale cannabis.

n Marshall E. Fields, 31, of the 200 block of Casey Avenue, was formally charged May 3 with failure to register as a sex offender. Records state on March 27 the defendant failed to report his cell phone number to authorities within the three-day requirement.

n Wilbert D. Nailing, 55, of the 2400 block of Casey Avenue, was formally charged May 3 with unlawful delivery of cannabis. Records state on Jan. 2 the defendant possessed more than 2.5 grams, but less than 10 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

n Andrew D. Kyles, 30, of the 17000 block of East Angling Road, was formally charged May 5 with domestic battery. Records state on May 4 the defendant allegedly shoved a female family member into a wall.

n Jeffrey A. Rockett, 46, of the 16000 block of North Campground Lane, was formally charged May 6 with possession of a firearm without a requisite firearms owner’s identification card. Records state on May 3 the defendant had a .22 rifle in his possession after his previous firearms identification card had been revoked.

n Timmesha M. Heard, 30, of the 1000 block of South 12th Street, was formally charged May 7 with failure to register as a sex offender. Records state on Feb. 7 the defendant failed to register within 90 days of the required annual registration.

Dispositions

Gary D. Bowers, 42, Ina, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of resisting a peace officer. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge and 100 hours of public service.

n April L. Calvert, 34, Centralia, pleaded guilty May 3 to a charge of retail theft. She was sentenced to one year of court supervision and to pay fines.

n Justin D. Cantrell, 24, McLeansboro, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of reckless conduct. He was sentenced to 18 months’ court supervision, to perform 100 hours of public service and to pay fines.

n Jeremy J. Cline, 29, Wayne City, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of stalking. He was sentenced to six months’ court supervision and to pay fines.

n Freddie G. Harris, 40, of the1200 block of Veterans Drive, pleaded guilty May 3 to a charge of possession of cannabis between 2.5 and 10 grams. He was sentenced to 18 months’ court supervision and to pay fines.

n Austin J. Pinner, 21, of the 1000 block of Warren Avenue, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of consumption of liquor by a minor. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge and to pay fines.

n Daniel G. Smith, 49, of the 300 block of South Second Street, pleaded guilty May 2 to a charge of battery. He was sentenced to 24 months’ court supervision and to pay fines.

n Pierre T. Stuckey, 26, of the 800 block of South 17th Street, pleaded guilty May 2 to a charge of possession of cannabis between 2.5 and 10 grams. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge and to pay fines.

n Larry Yarbrough, 39, of the 1000 block of South 25th Street, pleaded guilty May 2 to a charge of disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge and given credit for four days served.

n Deshauncey D. Rudd, 26, of the 700 block of South 12th Street, pleaded guilty May 2 to a charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 18 months’ court supervision and to pay fines.

n Brooke A. Braden, 25, Bluford, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of theft over $500. She was sentenced to six months in jail, 30 months’ conditional discharge and ordered to make restitution.

n William G. Flanders, 21, of the 100 block of North 12th Street, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of failure to report a change of address. He was sentenced to six months in jail and 30 months’ conditional discharge.

n Maegan Grossman, 27, Mattoon, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of theft. She was sentenced to six months in jail, 24 months’ conditional discharge and ordered to make restitution to the victim.

n Rodger D. Groves, 40, Fairfield, pleaded guilty May 4 to a charge of deception. He was sentenced to one year conditional discharge and to make restitution to the victim.

n Timmy C. Hicks Jr., 32, Waltonville, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of cruelty to animals. He was sentenced to 24 months’ conditional discharge and to pay fines.

n Denise D. Lee, 48, of the 900 block of Cleveland Street, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of retail theft. She was sentenced to six months in jail, 30 months’ conditional discharge and to pay fines.

n Brock D. Ziegler, 25, of the 10500 block of North Garfield Lane, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of retail theft over $300. He was sentenced to 30 months’ conditional discharge and to pay fines.

n Christopher L. Rogers, 31, of Linview Drive, pleaded guilty April 30, to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to seven years to the Department of Corrections.

n Jason S. Northrup, 31, Centralia, pleaded guilty May 1 to a charge of theft less than $500. He was sentenced to 24 months’ conditional discharge, to pay fines, and to make restitution to the victim.

n Chad D. Coyle, 26, of the 400 block of Perkins Avenue, pleaded guilty April 29 to a charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 24 months’ court supervision and to pay fines.

n Alvin R. Gary, 31, of the 600 block of South 24th Street, pleaded guilty April 26 to a charge of resisting arrest. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge and to pay fines.

n Nathan L. Roberson, 31, of the 400 block of Opdyke Avenue, pleaded guilty April 26 to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Katherine E. Scott, 23, Sesser, pleaded guilty April 26 to a charge of retail theft. She was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.
