Arrests

Deshawon Washington, 23, of the 800 block of South 19th Street, was arrested at 10:16 a.m. Monday on a charge of criminal trespass to land.

n Brenda Broadway, 60, of the 100 block of Opdyke, was arrested at 3:07 p.m. Monday on a warrant charging disorderly conduct.

Incident

An employee of Lane and Shelton Roofing in the 400 block of Meadowbrook Lane reported at 11:06 a.m. Monday the business had been burglarized.

Accidents

An employee of Evansville Railroad reported at 11:19 a.m. Monday a train struck a dump truck in the 1600 block of Main Street. Minor damage was reported. There were no injuries.

n A woman told police at 9:35 p.m. Monday her car had been struck by a motorist in the 500 block of Fairfield Road. The offending motorist continued westbound, police logs state.

Theft

A subject reported at 3:05 p.m. Monday a car was burglarized while parked at a residence in the 3100 block of Blackberry.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office

Arrests

Kimberly Carlton, 26, of the 600 block of South 23rd Street, was served a warrant at 2:50 p.m. Monday at the Justice Center for retail theft. Carlton is incarcerated on several drug charges stemming from a Jan. 27 arrest.

n Janea Gardner, 20, of the 300 block of South 19th Street, was arrested at noon Monday on a warrant charging criminal trespass/remaining on land.
