n Michael Scroggins, 39, Cordova, Ala., was arrested at 5:12 p.m. Saturday on charges of meth manufacturing less than 15 grams, possession of meth manufacturing materials and possession of meth precursor without a prescription.
n Ruth Randall, 68, Bluford, was arrested at 5:49 p.m. Saturday on a charge of retail theft.
n Jordan Thompson, 23, of the 4200 block of Westwood Drive, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. Sunday on a charge of domestic battery.
n James Zeckovich, 58, of the 500 block of North Eighth Street, was arrested at 1:48 a.m. Sunday on a charge of driving under the influence.
n Michael Rednour, 34, of the 200 block of Halia Crest, was arrested at 3:36 a.m. Sunday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.
n Rickey Gibson, 39, of the 2000 block of College Street, was arrested at 9:24 p.m. Sunday on a charge of writing a bad check/obtaining control over property.
An employee of Kroger’s requested police make contact with a subject who has purchased items in the past with fraudulent checks and is using checks Sunday that appear to be the same as ones used in the past. By the time police arrived, the subject had left in a car with Tennessee plates northbound on North 42nd Street.
A woman reported at 4:06 p.m. Saturday she believes her dog was stolen in the 2800 block of Logan Street. The dog had been secured outside, the woman told police.
n Loss prevention officials at Wal-mart reported at 5:26 p.m. Saturday a shoplifter was in custody.
n A woman requested to speak to an officer at 8:46 p.m. Saturday about juveniles that allegedly stole items from the woman. A female juvenile was taken into custody, according to police logs.

William White, 49, of the 8000 block of North Taft Lane, was arrested at 8:29 p.m. Friday on charges of aggravated battery of a government employee, aggravated intimidation of a peace officer and resisting/obstructing an officer.
Authorities received a report at 7:08 a.m. Saturday that several mail boxes were knocked down along Illinois Highway 15 between Pigeon and Harmony Lane.
