Gary Davis, 40, Hot Springs, Ark., was arrested at 10:05 a.m. Thursday on an out of state warrant.

n David Rodriguez, 22, Bluford, was arrested at 4:12 p.m. Thursday on a charge of theft between $500 and $10,000.


A woman reported at 2:46 p.m. Thursday a possible burglary at a residence in the 2100 block of Perkins Avenue. The homeowner found two damaged doors.

n An employee of the Holiday Inn requested an officer at 4:38 p.m. Thursday to report a theft.

n Several weather-related calls were received by the department during a thunderstorm Thursday. A caller reported a tree in the roadway at 4:32 p.m. at the intersection of 10th Street and Park Avenue; and tree limbs were reported down at 6:20 p.m. and 6:32 p.m. in the 700 block of North Eighth Street and at the intersection of 23rd Street and Forest.


A woman requested EMS at 5:24 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of South 42nd Street. The woman stated she hit a pole and a female passenger was bleeding from the mouth. The injured passenger was taken to Crossroads Community Hospital.

A report was received at 8:44 p.m. Thursday a tree was blocking one lane and part of another on North Harmony Lane; dispatchers also received a report at 9:35 p.m. of a large tree covering one-half of North Opdyke Lane; and a power line was reportedly down under trees at the intersection of Bishop and Old Centralia Road at 7:19 p.m.
