Arrests

Donna Newbury, 49, Waltonville, was arrested at 8:34 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of violation of bail.

n Robert “Bud” Tate, 30, of the 7700 block of Matisse, was arrested at 6:08 p.m. Wednesday on two warrants charging meth manufacturing between 15 and 100 grams.

n Brandy Pierce, 31, of the 100 block of North Seventh Street, was arrested at 6:22 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant charging meth manufacturing between 15 and 100 grams.

Theft

A caller reported at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday a cell phone was stolen while she was inside Walmart.

Incidents

Police received two reports of stolen copper wire from residences. The first report was received at 10:08 a.m. from a male caller who stated a residence in the 200 block of Walnut Street was stripped of copper wire. The second report was received at 7 p.m. from a man who reported copper was taken from a residence in the 1000 block of South 21st Street.

n A woman reported at 5:32 p.m. Wednesday she witnessed an alleged battery in the 1700 block of South 15th Street. The offender was taken into custody on a warrant, logs state.

n Two male subjects were cited for possession of cannabis at 8:57 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 28th Street and Casey Avenue. Drug material were also seized by police.

n A woman reported she was allegedly sexually assaulted at 9:18 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment in the 100 block of North Sixth Street. A male subject was transported to the MVPD and then transported back to his residence. The woman was taken to Crossroads Community Hospital, according to police logs.

Arrests

Abigail Little, 35, of the 100 block of North Sixth Street, turned herself in at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

n Eric Nabors, 28, of the 2200 block of College, was arrested at 3:51 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of meth manufacturing/delivery of between 10 and 30 grams.
