Amanda Ortiz, 24, of the 500 block of South 24th Street, was arrested at 10:18 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant charging failure to appear.

n Angela Tibbs, 33, of the 500 block of South 18th Street, was arrested at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.

n Delondria Young, 25, of the 800 block of South 19th Street, was arrested at 4:04 p.m. Tuesday on an unspecified warrant.

n Carissa Johnson, 20, Pecan Court, was arrested at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant charging failure to appear.

n Terrance Watson, 19, of the 300 block of Harrison Street, was arrested at 10:13 p.m. Tuesday on a traffic warrant.

n Matthew Thackston, 32, Herrin, was arrested at 12:48 a.m. Wednesday on a Williamson County warrant.


An employee of US Bank in the 4100 block of Broadway reported at 2 p.m. Tuesday they believe one of their customers may have cashed a stolen check.

n A man reported at 5:57 p.m. Tuesday his wife’s phone was allegedly stolen while shopping at a business in the 700 block of Prairie Avenue.


A male subject reported at 4:53 p.m. Tuesday his girlfriend stabbed him with a fork during a dispute in the 500 block of South 27th Street.

n A woman reported at 6:19 p.m. Tuesday she returned home in the 100 block of North Seventh Street to find the residence burglarized.


A motorist reported at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday her vehicle was struck by another motorist in the 100 block of Davidson Avenue and the offender left the parking lot 20 minutes earlier.

Devon Heisner, 27, of the 3200 block of Jamison Boulevard, turned himself in at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant charging failure to appear.


A man threw a bottle through a window at the Red Carpet Inn in Dix at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday.

n An employee of Good Samaritan Regional Health Center requested an officer at 5:52 a.m. Wednesday in reference to an alleged battery occurring in the Nason area.


A diesel engine was reportedly on fire at a sawmill in the 28000 block of East Lynchberg Road at 3:57 p.m. Tuesday. A damage report was not available.
