Janice Tibbs, 51, of the 1400 block of Salem Road, was arrested at 12:06 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Jonathan Reed, 22, of the 1000 block of South 22nd Street, was arrested at 10:43 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of domestic battery.

n Dashahn Hinds, 26, of the 2500 block of Jones Street, was arrested at 10:57 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant charging failure to appear.


An employee of the Good Samaritan Regional Health Center emergency room requested an officer at 5:44 a.m. Wednesday to speak with a patient who came to the hospital as a reported victim of an alleged battery.

An employee of a business in the 4600 block of Broadway reported at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday two male subjects were involved in a dispute and one of the subjects pulled a knife on the other. By the time police arrived, the offending party had left, police logs state.

n A man reported at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday a residence in the 800 block of South 21st Street had been burglarized.

n A male subject reported to police at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday he was the victim of an alleged battery occurring at the intersection of 22nd Street and Conger Avenue by a man known by the victim. The victim was taken to Crossroads Community Hospital.


A woman requested an officer at 12:09 p.m. Wednesday to a business in the 100 block of Potomac Boulevard after a server witnessed a customer go behind the bar on Tuesday night and steal a beer. Restaurant management requested three subjects be banned from the business.

n A woman requested to speak to an officer at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday regarding a pair of headphones being stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Lou Street.

Ryan Stewart, 23, of the 2900 block of South 13th Street, was arrested at 7:10 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Benjamin Dixon, 28, Waltonville, was arrested at 9:41 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant charging manufacture/delivery of cannabis between 2.5 and 10 grams.


A teen, 18-year-old Dustin Wilson, hometown unavailable, was ticketed following a single-vehicle accident at 11 a.m. Wednesday on North Avenue in Ina. Reports state Wilson struck a guardrail and went into a ditch. Wilson was cited on charges of failure to reduce speed and operating an uninsured vehicle.
