n Kenyon Johnson, 34, of the 700 block of South 21st Street, was arrested at 12:52 a.m. Friday on a charge of resisting a peace officer.
An employee of the Register-News requested an officer at 11:30 a.m. Thursday to file a theft report.
n Loss prevention personnel at Kmart reported at 7 p.m. Thursday four subjects were being detained for alleged shoplifting. Three juveniles and one adult was taken into custody.
A female subject requested to speak to an officer at 2:11 p.m. Thursday regarding an alleged domestic dispute at a residence in the 1200 block of South 23rd Street.
n An employee of Crossroads Community Hospital requested an officer at 8:37 p.m. Thursday for a female subject allegedly involved in a battery.

Alexandrea Cobb, 21, of the 1000 block of Jones, was arrested at 11:09 a.m. Thursday on a charge of violation of bail bond.
n Timothy Washington, 32, of the 400 block of Herbert, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Friday on warrants charging manufacture/delivery of cocaine between 15 and 100 grams and possession of a controlled substance.
A subject reported at 6 p.m. Thursday several items were taken from a truck in the 300 block of North East Street in Dix.
n A subject reported at 2:58 a.m. Friday the theft of a dirt bike from a shed in the 12000 block of North Two Mile Creek Lane.
A woman reported at 5:533 p.m. Thursday she was battered by a man known by the victim in a motel at Dix. The man allegedly stole the woman’s vehicle, which was later located. Charges are pending on the alleged domestic battery, police logs state.
Jefferson Fire Protection District responded to a residential fire in the 17000 block of North Timberline Lane at 4:18 a.m. Friday. Four trucks and six firefighters responded to the fire, which was electrical in nature. A fire spokesman said the fire is believed to have started on the second floor. Damage was reported to the living room, bedroom and attic. No injuries reported.
