Arrests

William Spears, 27, of the 800 block of North Fourth Street, was arrested at 2:16 p.m. Friday on a charge of driving while license revoked/suspended.

n Paul Brown, 25, of the 500 block of North 11th Street, was arrested at 5:26 p.m. Friday on a charge of criminal damage to property.

n David Keen, 46, of the 1100 block of Grove, was arrested at 9:52 p.m. Friday on a charge of resisting/obstructing an officer.

n Richard Flores, 27, of the 1100 block of Gaskins, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Saturday on a charge of retail theft less than $300.

n Deshawon Washington, 23, of the 300 block of South 19th Street, was arrested at 8:45 a.m. Saturday on a warrant to revoke probation.

n Haley Weaver, 18, of the 700 block of South 24th Street, was arrested at 10:16 a.m. Saturday on a charge of driving with no license.

n Lanika White, 27, of the 900 block of South 25th Street, was arrested at 10:06 p.m. Saturday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked and a Pulaski County warrant charging failure to appear.

n Craig Nelson, 39, of the 1700 block of Warren Avenue, was arrested at 2:37 p.m. Sunday on a charge of aggravated domestic battery.

Fire

Mt. Vernon Fire Department responded to a two-story structure fire at 12:40 a.m. Monday in the 2400 block of Casey Avenue. Chief Jim Brown reports the female occupant of the house, Amanda Henson, was able to escape without injury. The rental property is owned by George Floyd. Brown said the fire was contained to a small area of the basement. The cause is undetermined and is not suspicious. Firefighters cleared the scene at 1 a.m.

Thefts

An employee of Nature Trail reported at 7:48 a.m. Saturday a nurse had items stolen while at the business. At 10:38 a.m. police received a second call from the facility reporting a resident found items missing.

n The manager of the Family Dollar Store on South 10th Street reported at 1:15 p.m. Saturday a female subject attempted to steal items from the store.

n A male subject reported at 2:37 p.m. Saturday he had items stolen from a residence in the 2700 block of Cherry Street.

Incidents

A female subject requested an officer at 10:22 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Casey Avenue, claiming she was the victim of an alleged domestic dispute. The woman called back at 11:28 p.m. stating a male subject was banging on a window at the residence. No arrests were made.

n An officer received a report at 3:37 a.m. Sunday of a stolen vehicle being recovered in Ridgway. The vehicle had been parked at the former Country Craft Furniture location.

n An employee from the emergency room of Crossroads Community Hospital reported at 11:22 a.m. Saturday they were treating a female subject who was allegedly battered the previous evening in the 1200 block of Warren. An arrest was made at 2:20 p.m. Saturday.

n A man reported he arrived home at 8 p.m. Saturday to find a door open in the 100 block of Opdyke and evidence of someone going through the house. The reporting person did not know if anything was missing from the residence.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office

Arrests

Amber Nadolski, 28, of the 800 block of South 24th Street, was arrested at 1:53 a.m. Saturday on a warrant charging failure to appear.

n Crystal Goddard, 30, of the 2800 block of Logan Street, turned herself in at 12:29 p.m. Saturday on a warrant for failure to appear.

Incident

A woman returned home in the 300 block of South Ninth Street in Nason around 9:50 p.m. Friday and discovered $1,500 cash missing.

Fire

Woodlawn Fire Department responded to a residential fire at 2:39 a.m. Monday in the 600 block of Casey Avenue. Woodlawn requested mutual aid from the Ashley and Irvington fire departments. The fire was until control at 4:20 a.m., according to police logs. No other information was available.

Arrest

Ricky Lampley, 58, Benton, was arrested at 8:42 p.m. Saturday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.
