Arrests

Adam Knappier, 29, of the 1100 block of South 24th Street, was arrested at 6:18 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of criminal trespass to residence.

n Jordan Rivera, 23, of the 1900 block of South 15th Street, was arrested at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of retail theft.

Incident

A business owner reported to police at 4:02 p.m. Wednesday he had received a bad check from a male suspect. The business in question is located in the 100 block of South 45th Street.

Thefts

A man told police at 11:34 a.m. Wednesday he had money stolen from his Link card. The man lives in the 200 block of North 10th Street.

n A woman reported to police at 1:59 p.m. Wednesday there were items missing from her residence in the 400 block of South 23rd Street. The police logs did not identify the missing items.

n A man told police at 5:12 p.m. Wednesday his cell phone was stolen from a residence in the 600 block of South 18th Street.

Incident

A female juvenile reported to police at 10:32 p.m. Wednesday her mother had entered the house with a baseball bat and was threatening her father with it. The mother then left the scene and no injuries were reported. The incident took place in the 900 block of West Fifth Street in Bluford.

Fire

A caller told police at 6:22 a.m. Thursday there was a small fire on the side of the road, near the 17200 block of North County Farm Lane. Jefferson County firefighters responded to the scene and found that an electrical line was down. No injuries were reported.
