Mt. Vernon Police Arrests
Jordan Rivera, 23, of the 1900 block of South 23rd Street, was arrested at 2:25 p.m. Friday on a charge of manufacture/delivery of 1-15 grams of heroin.
n Shane Hicks, 25, Sunset Drive, was arrested at 3:02 p.m. Friday on a charge of manufacture/delivery of 1-15 grams of heroin.
n Lacey Roland, 24, Fenton, Mo., was arrested at 5:47 p.m. Friday on a charge of retail theft.
n Brookelynn Maclin, 22, of the 900 block of South Sixth Street, was arrested at 5:36 p.m. Friday on a charge of violation of bail bond.
n Bryan Woods, 23, of the 19000 block of North Village Lane, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. Saturday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.
n Tamara Clinton, 19, of the 2300 block of Herbert Street, was arrested at 1:57 p.m. Saturday on a warrant charging battery.
n Melissa Visser, 42, of the 15000 block of East Nolan Road, was arrested at 3:28 p.m. Sunday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.
n Amber Garcia, 29, of the 1600 block of Isabella, was arrested at 4:05 p.m. Sunday on a warrant charging manufacture/delivery of 1-15 grams of heroin.
n Robert Nauert, 34, of the 600 block of Chesterfield, was arrested at 1:34 a.m. Monday on charges of aggravated domestic battery and battery.
A female caller told police at 6:01 a.m. Saturday she had $1,200 in cash taken from a residence in the 700 block of South 15th Street. The victim believes the money may have been taken by one of the six individuals visiting the residence.
n An employee of Wal-Mart told police at 1:24 p.m. Saturday a juvenile was in custody for alleged shoplifting.
n A woman told police at 3:42 p.m. Sunday her boyfriend took items from an apartment in the 4100 block of Willow Springs while the victim was in church.
The owner of Tyler Motors, 100 block of South 45th Street, reported at 9:52 a.m. Saturday a customer ran into a vehicle owned by the dealership.
Two vehicles were reportedly damaged overnight Friday while parked near Wendy’s at Times Square Mall.
n Security personnel at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center requested an officer at 10:33 p.m. Saturday for a female patient who was allegedly “hitting other people.” The subject was taken into custody.
n A caller reported at 10:14 p.m. Sunday hearing five gunshots near the intersection of Sixth Street and Conger Avenue. A second caller reported hearing four gunshots in the 600 block of South Sixth Street a few minutes after the first report was received.
n A witness reported at 12:49 a.m. Monday a dispute between a man and woman in the 600 block of Chesterfield. The female left with a friend and was stopped in the 4200 block of 42nd Street and asked to follow police to the police station to provide a report. The offending party was found at the apartment and taken into custody. The victim, who was allegedly choked, refused emergency medical service.

Angel Jackson, 19, of the 900 block of Cleveland Street, was arrested at 11:29 a.m. Friday on charges of criminal damage to government property, direct civil contempt and resisting/obstructing an officer.
n Breah Rivera, 20, of the 1100 block of South 25th Street, was arrested at 5:31 p.m. Friday on a charge of home invasion.
n Dylan Bruns, 17, of the 6800 block of Matisse Lane, was arrested at 5:31 p.m. Friday on charges of criminal damage to property and home invasion.
n Dakota Sluder, 20, of the 900 block of Taylor Avenue, was arrested at 1:34 a.m. Saturday on a charge of driving with expired registration.
n Krista Lane, 28, Benton, was arrested at 3:09 p.m. Saturday on a charge of driving under the influence.
n Jaryan Brock-Bentley, 24, Opdyke, was arrested at 5:02 p.m. Saturday on a charge of domestic battery.
n Ryan Duncan, 25, of the 700 block of South 10th Street, was arrested at 7:03 p.m. Sunday on a charge of violation of bail bond.
A Sesser man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 10:32 a.m. Sunday on Illinois 148, south of Flagg. Reports state Alex Kramer, 27, was southbound on Illinois 148 when he failed to negotiate a curve and hit a tree. Kramer was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Health Center.
Police were called to break up a large fight at 1:13 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of North Two Mile Creek Lane. Reports state two people were taken to Good Samaritan Regional Health Center for treatment of injuries.
