Anthony Willis, 25, Carlyle, was arrested at 9:44 a.m. Monday on a charge of parole violation.

n James Ratajczyk, 45, Tamaroa, was arrested at 2:57 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.


An employee of Byrd-Watson in the 1200 block of Main Street reported at 8:55 a.m. Monday the business had been burglarized and a drive-through window shattered.

n A woman requested an officer at 10:43 a.m. Monday in reference to someone breaking into her home in the 1200 block of South 24th Street.

n A man requested an officer at 4:48 p.m. Monday, stating his son had allegedly been battered earlier on Newby Avenue.

n A female caller requested an officer at 10:35 p.m. Monday for a neighbor who had come to the reporting person’s home, claiming a male subject had come into her home. The victim managed to get away from the subject known to her, but her children were still inside the home with the alleged intruder. Police secured the home and children, according to police logs.

n A man discovered his debit card stolen from a residence in the 1700 block of Main Street at 11:35 p.m. Monday.


A woman reported at 4:15 p.m. Monday a theft occurred at her residence in the 1800 block of Forest.

Steve Wilson, 39, Woodlawn, was arrested at 7:34 p.m. Monday on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

n Jerry Powell, 22, Fairfield, was arrested at 10:47 p.m. Monday on a Jefferson County warrant charging failure to appear.

n Zachery Tomshack, 21, Waltonville, was arrested at 2:13 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving under the influence.
