Natasha Hill, 29, of 900 block of Taylor, was arrested at 3:06 p.m. Thursday on a charge of driving while license suspended.


An employee of US Bank on South 10th Street reported at 10:34 a.m. Wednesday they had received a counterfeit check.

n A woman requested an officer at 8:08 p.m. Wednesday stating her boyfriend had allegedly battered her in the 400 block of South Fourth Street.

n A man reported at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday he was involved in a fight with another man in the 400 block of South 20th Street. An officer requested EMS for the victim who had a cut over his eye, but he refused service. At 11:48 p.m. the victim called police requesting EMS for a head wound. The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Health Center.

n A man requested an officer at 4:05 p.m. Thursday for a burglary report.


Callers reported smoke in the hallway at a residence in the 900 block of South Sixth Street at 5:08 p.m. Wednesday. There was no fire. Firefighters said a cooking incident led to the smoke. The building was ventilated.


A woman states she came out of a business at 1:23 p.m. Thursday and discovered someone had struck her vehicle.


A man reported at 9:51 a.m. Friday that stereo equipment had been taken from a business in the 300 block of South Ninth Street.

n A caller reported at 7:46 p.m. Wednesday a shoplifter at the Dollar Tree in the 4500 block of Broadway. The shoplifter allegedly took three sacks full of merchandise and left the premises in a truck.

Donald Cochrane, 23, Belle Rive, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. Thursday on a warrant charging violation of an order of protection.

n Dwaine McDonald, 34, of the 4000 block of Willow Springs, was arrested at 6:34 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant charging perjury.


A homeowner reported at 8:32 a.m. Friday a neighbor reported a commotion in the 15000 block of North Old Centralia Lane. A mailbox owned by the reporting person was damaged, logs state.
