Arrests

Nikko D. Branch, 22, of the 1000 block of South 25th Street, was arrested at 4:22 p.m. Thursday on charges of battery and mob action.

n Thomas R. Osborn, 32, of the 800 block of North Street, was arrested at 1:44 a.m. Friday on a charge of driving under the influence.

n Douglas E. Lowery Jr., 26, McLeansboro, was arrested at 1:45 a.m. Friday on charges of aggravated domestic battery and unlawful restraint.

Incidents

A bartender at a business in the 800 block of South 19th Street requested an officer at 1:08 a.m. Friday after a male subject stated he had been battered. The man was taken to Crossroads Community Hospital.

Thefts

An employee of the South 10th Street Huck’s store reported a drive off of $44.62 at 10:35 a.m. Thursday.

n A woman reported at 2:06 p.m. Thursday a gaming system was stolen from her residence in the 1400 block of Salem Road.

n A man told police at 2:12 p.m. Thursday he is tearing down a trailer in the 1300 block of South 13th Street and someone took items from the location.

n A woman reported at 2:49 p.m. Thursday the theft of a cell phone from a location in the 100 block of South Seventh Street.

Accidents

Two people were taken to Good Samaritan Regional Health Center following an accident in the 1100 block of Main Street at 3:49 p.m. Thursday. Reports state a truck ran into several vehicles before crashing into a wall.

Arrests

Bart L. Edmison, 41, Opdyke, was arrested at 11:39 a.m. Thursday on two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
