Arrests

Enjoli Boyd, 28, of the 800 block of South 22nd Street, was arrested at 10:08 a.m. Thursday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Constantinos Shafer, 26, of the 4200 block of Cumberland Pike, was arrested at 1:53 p.m. Thursday on a charge of domestic battery.

n Aaron Martin, 19, of the 300 block of South Second Street, was arrested at 3:21 p.m. Thursday on a charge of driving without a license.

n James Lomax, 22, of the 600 block of South 18th Street, was arrested at 2:35 p.m. Thursday on a charge of manufacture/delivery of cannabis, 10 to 30 grams.

n Jasmine Gonzalez, 19, of Bluford, was arrested at 7:20 p.m. Thursday on a charge of theft.

Incidents

A man told police at 6:25 a.m. Thursday several items were stolen from his vehicle in the 1800 block of Forest Avenue.

n A woman reported to police at 1:14 p.m. Thursday there were subjects in the apartment next door in a physical dispute. The incident occurred in the 4200 block of Cumberland Pike.

n Local police responded to a report of battery at 4:08 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of South 23rd Street. The male victim received a head injury and was taken to Crossroads Community Hospital for treatment. A condition report was not available.

n Local police responded to a report of a woman chasing someone down the road with a large knife at 5:34 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of North Sixth Street. Police logs state officers received conflicting stories about what occurred and that the knife in question was confiscated.

n A man told police at 8:26 p.m. Thursday a juvenile damaged a door in the 1600 block of Logan Street.

Thefts

A female employee reported to police at 9:11 a.m. Thursday a possible internal theft had occurred at a business in the 4800 block of Broadway.

n A clerk reported a drive-off in the amount of $47.73 at 5:16 p.m. Thursday at a gas station in the 3300 block of Broadway. The alleged perpetrators returned to the gas station and paid for the fuel, police logs state.

Arrests

Cody McLearin, 20, of Ina, was arrested at 1:41 p.m. Thursday on a charge of residential burglary.

n Kimberly Carlton, 26, of the 600 block of South 23rd Street, was arrested at 2:56 p.m. Thursday on charges of disposing of meth manufacturing waste, meth manufacturing of less than 15 grams, possession of 5 to 15 grams of meth, possession of hypo/syringe/needles, possession of meth manufacturing material, possession of drug paraphernalia, retail theft and violation of bail bond.

n Wallace Austin, 48, of Marion, was arrested at 6:43 p.m. Thursday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Terri Repp (Falter), 39, of DuQuoin, was arrested at 6:48 p.m. Thursday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

Fires

Area emergency officials responded to a report of a field fire at 11:16 a.m. Thursday in the 8700 block of East Johnson Street in Dix. The fire was about 100 yards wide and was brought under control. No injuries were reported.

n Jefferson Fire Protection District responded to a report of a leaf fire out of control at 2:04 p.m. Thursday in the 18300 block of North Boyd Lane. Less than an acre of woods was on fire. The fire was brought under control and no injuries were reported.

n Bluford fire officials responded to a report of a field fire at 2:56 p.m. Thursday in the 19700 block of East Pinecone Road. No injuries were reported.

n Woodlawn fire officials responded to a report of a brush fire out of control at 3:19 p.m. Thursday in the 18300 block of North Justin Lane in Dix. Police logs state 20 to 25 acres were on fire and the fire was close to a barn. No injuries were reported.

n Jefferson Fire Protection District responded to a report of a grass fire close to a house at 4:42 p.m. Thursday in the 12500 block of East Swift Road. No injuries were reported.

n Belle Rive fire officials responded to a report of a controlled burn out of control at 4:50 p.m. Thursday on North Goshen Lane, south of Saddle Club Road. No injuries were reported.

n Waltonville fire officials responded to a report of a grass fire at 5:29 p.m. Thursday at Illinois Highway 148/Spruce Street. No injuries were reported.

n Area emergency officials responded to a report of a grass fire at 6:06 p.m. Thursday on East Lang Lane in Bonnie. No injuries were reported.

n Jefferson Fire Protection District responded to a report of a field fire at 6:40 p.m. Thursday in the 13800 block of East Dix-Texico Road. Police logs indicate one acre was on fire and there were also trees on fire. No injuries were reported.

n Jefferson Fire Protection District responded to a grass fire near a pole barn at 10:14 a.m. Friday in the 16700 block of North Campground Lane. The fire was brought under control and no injuries were reported.

n Area emergency officials responded to a report of a brush fire going into the woods at 2:32 p.m. Friday in the 5500 block of North Cherryville Lane in Nason. No injuries were reported in the police logs.

Arrest

Rebecca Hunter, 41, of Belleville, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. Thursday on charges of criminal trespass to state land and disorderly conduct.
