Arrests

Rick Smith, 42, Marion, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. Thursday on a warrant charging failure to appear.

n Gerald Lowery, 49, Belle Rive, was arrested at 7:56 p.m. Thursday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.

n Joseph Roberts, 32, of the 7800 block of North Spring Garden Lane, was arrested at 7:37 p.m. Thursday on a warrant charging meth precursor more than 15 grams but less than 22.5 grams.

n Nathaniel Mays, 18, Belle Rive, was arrested at 2:21 a.m. Friday on a warrant charging failure to appear.

n Ashton Harper, 19, of the 1000 block of South 23rd Street, was arrested at 3:24 a.m. Friday on charges of aggravated battery and consumption of liquor by a minor.

Theft

A male subject told police at 8:52 a.m. Thursday a package was supposed to be delivered in the 700 block of Main Street and he believes someone took it while it was outside his residence.

Incidents

A woman reported at 12:33 p.m. Thursday her bank cards and other items were taken from a residence in the 700 block of South 17th Street.

n A female subject from Chicago told police at 1:08 p.m. Thursday a business credit card was fraudulently used at the local Walmart.

n A man reported at 3:28 p.m. Thursday he came home to find a residence in the 800 block of South 25th Street burglarized. A gun was among items missing, police logs state.

n A man requested an officer at 2:16 a.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Logan Street, alleging several occupants of the home battered him. The victim was taken to Crossroads Community Hospital and one male subject was taken into custody, according to police logs.

Eric Summers, 23, of the 200 block of North Seventh Street, was arrested at 11:31 a.m. Thursday on a warrant charging failure to appear.
