Arrest

Timothy Noe, 37, of the 1000 block of South 21st Street, was arrested at 11:54 p.m. Thursday on a charge of theft of services.

Incidents

A woman called at 5:15 p.m. Thursday to report a male subject running around a mobile home court with a knife and may have possibly cut himself. The subject was taken to Crossroads Hospital for evaluation and then transferred to Good Samaritan Regional Health Center since the other hospital had no restraints.

n A woman called police at 9:08 p.m. Thursday to report her boyfriend flipped out on the victim verbally and threw a glass at the woman and then left a residence in the 1400 block of North Seventh Street.

Theft

An American Cab employee requested an officer to the 1000 block of South 23rd Street at 11:26 p.m. in reference to an unpaid fare. A man was taken into custody, logs state.

Arrests

Michael Minks, 26, Belleville, was arrested at 6:26 a.m. Thursday on a warrant charging failure to appear.

n Rhett Sloan, 40, of the 14000 block of North Harmony Lane, was arrested at 5:17 p.m. Thursday on a warrant charging failure to appear.

Theft

A subject reported at 9:32 a.m. Thursday a storage unit lock cut off and a unit burglarized in the 16000 block of North Illinois Highway 37.

Accident

An elderly Opdyke woman was issued citations following a two-vehicle accident at 10:19 a.m. Thursday on Illinois Highway 142 at Goshen Road. Reports state 78-year-old Charlene Jacobsen was westbound on the highway and drifted into the eastbound lane, colliding with Randall Henry, 55, of Mt. Vernon. Jacobsen was ticketed on charges of improper lane usage and operation of an uninsured vehicle. One person — although not identified — was taken to Crossroads Community Hospital and one medical refusal was signed, according to police logs.
