Arrests

Lin A. Neal, 53, of the 800 block of Lamar Avenue, was arrested at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday on charges of violation of bail bond, criminal trespass to a building and retail theft.

n Treva R. Miller, 20, of the 200 block of North Seventh Street, was arrested at 5:43 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of disorderly conduct.

n Robert A. Tate, 30, of the 7700 block of Matisse Lane, was arrested at 6:08 p.m. Tuesday on charges of violation of bail bond and possession of a hypodermic syringe/needle.

n Brian L. Burton, 46, of the 700 block of South 10th Street, was arrested at 3:32 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of domestic battery.

Thefts

An employee of King City Liquors in the 300 block of South 12th Street told police at 1:52 p.m. Tuesday a male subject attempted to steal a bottle of alcohol from the business and left in a southbound direction. Police made contact with the subject and took him into custody.

n A subject submitted a report at 7 p.m. Tuesday in reference to stolen property taken at Mt. Vernon High School.

Incidents

A motorist reported at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday an odor of propane in the 900 block of South 42nd Street. The fire department and Ameren responded. Ameren officials told police they were boring and hit a main. The problem was corrected.

n A male subject reported at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday a window was broken out of his mobile home by two subjects known by the victim.

n A woman told police at 10:32 p.m. Tuesday her mother was allegedly battered by another relative in the 2000 block of Waltonville Road.
