Orville Young, 41, Cotton Plant, Ark., was arrested at 3:18 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of violation of bail bond.
n Tyler Bradham, 18, Woodlawn, was arrested at 10:32 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
n Ryan Akin, 20, of the 1400 block of White Avenue, was arrested at 2:36 a.m. Thursday on charges of domestic battery, interfering with a report of domestic violence and possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams.
A woman told police at 3:44 p.m. Wednesday a bicycle was taken from a residence in the 2200 block of Casey Avenue.
n An employee of the Casey’s store on Salem Road reported at 9:16 p.m. Wednesday a drive-off of $27. A vehicle matching the description of the offending party was located in the 1200 block of Veterans Memorial Drive about 30 minutes later. Two subjects, including a juvenile, were taken into custody.
A woman requested to speak to an officer at 11:02 a.m. Wednesday in reference to her son allegedly being threatened at a school in the 2300 block of Benton Road.
n A caller reported at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday a female solicitor was going door to door in the Fruit Bowl selling magazines to send to troops. Officers checked the area but made no contact with the offending party.
n A male subject requested to speak to an officer at 11:13 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of White Avenue in reference to a disagreement with a neighbor. The neighbor allegedly pointed and cocked a handgun before leaving. Officers checked the neighbor’s home and found two BB guns. The weapons were confiscated by police. At 1:47 a.m. the victim called police a second time, stating subjects pushed their way into his home, and he was allegedly battered. A suspect was stopped in the 2700 block of Broadway at 2 a.m. and taken into custody.
Staff at Green Tree in the 200 block of Zachary Drive reported an outlet in an electrical room caught on fire at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, which was extinguished. An officer clarified a light fixture in the ceiling had burned out. No damage was reported.
A Woodlawn man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident at 1:43 p.m. Wednesday in the 3400 block of Broadway.
Trey Wood, 25, was westbound on a motorcycle when an eastbound car driven by Theodore Kryzanoski, 89, of Nashville, turned in front of the cyclist. Wood was thrown from the motorcycle and received major injuries to both legs. He was taken from the scene to Crossroads Community Hospital.
Kryzanoski was ticketed on a charge of failure to yield right of way.

Mary Caupert, 54, Centralia, was arrested at 12:24 a.m. Thursday on a charge of driving under the influence.
Matthew Phillips, 21, of the 500 block of Broadway, was arrested at 1:53 a.m. Thursday on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor an illegal transportation of alcohol.
