Arrests

Ashleigh A. Weaver, 27, of the 1200 block of South 23rd Street, was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Monday on charges of misuse of credit card and theft between $500 and $10,000.

n Tonya D. Wetzel, 44, of the 1900 block of Casey Avenue, was arrested at 5:57 p.m. Monday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n William E. Mundy, 57, Hazel Park, Mich., was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Monday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

Incidents

A woman told police at 2:30 p.m. Monday a window was busted out of her vehicle and her purse stolen while the car was parked at a business in the 100 block of Potomac Boulevard.

n An anonymous caller told police at 4:15 p.m. Monday two males broke into a soda machine at the city park.

n A woman told police at 5:37 p.m. Monday a relative’s residence was burglarized about a week ago in the 1400 block of Jones Street.

n A woman told police at 6:20 p.m. Monday her 9-year-old daughter was allegedly battered in the 400 block of Opdyke Avenue by a neighbor.

n An officers reported hearing 10 gunshots in the area of 19th Street and Conger Avenue about 7:45 p.m. Monday. Police dispatch also received several calls, according to logs.

n A male states he was allegedly battered in the area of Ninth and Cleveland streets about 9:30 p.m. Monday. The victim also reported his cell phone was stolen.

n A woman reported at 9:42 p.m. Monday a window was busted out at a residence in the 100 block of Hemlock Court.

n A woman told police at 12:19 a.m. Tuesday a home in the 1100 block of South 26th Street had been burglarized.

Thefts

An employee of an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Veterans Memorial Drive told authorities at 10:37 a.m. Monday she believes someone is stealing from their after hours box used for rental payments.

Accidents

The manager of a pawn shop in the 1100 block of Jordan Street reported at 12:53 p.m. Monday that a man’s vehicle was damaged while parked on the lot at the business.

n A man stated his vehicle was struck while parked at a business in the 100 block of Davidson Avenue before 3 p.m. Monday.

Incidents

A woman reported rental property in the 300 block of South Hickory in Belle Rive was damaged sometime before 5:40 p.m. Monday. A door was broken and there were items left upstairs, according to a report.
