Several callers reported gunshots in the area of Perkins Avenue, between 22nd and 23rd Street, during the noon hour Thursday.
n A man told police at 12:24 p.m. Thursday he was allegedly battered by another man while at work in the 1000 block of Salem Road.
n A woman reported at 6:50 p.m. a game system was taken from a residence in the 200 block of Opdyke Avenue.
n National Railway security reported at 1:13 a.m. Friday hearing five or six gunshots east of the business. Another individual reported hearing four shots. Officers located shell casings in the 900 block of South 12th Street. A woman reported at 1:20 a.m. her vehicle had been shot while traveling on South 12th Street. No arrests were made although several individuals were questioned by police.
A woman reported the theft of a cell phone from a residence in the 900 block of South 23rd Street at 12:35 p.m. Thursday.
n Loss prevention personnel at Walmart reported a female juvenile was in custody at 4:18 p.m. Thursday for alleged shoplifting.
n Loss prevention personnel at Kmart reported at 6:49 p.m. Thursday a female was in custody for alleged shoplifting.
n A woman reported at 8:42 p.m. Thursday the theft of medications from a residence in the 1000 block of South 17th Street.

Alec McLaughlin, 20, of the 400 block of South 19th Street, was arrested at 2:18 a.m. Friday on a charge of violation of bail bond.
A shooting incident occurred in the 1400 block of North Abbott Lane in Belle Rive shortly before 10 a.m. Friday. Police reports state three individuals had come to a residence to repossess a home and a male subject came out of the home shooting toward them. No injuries were reported from the gunfire, however, EMS was requested when the subject firing the shots was tased by police and complained of heart issues, logs state.
