Arrests

Sarah Carter, 36, Chicago, was arrested at 8:35 p.m. Thursday on a charge of resisting/obstructing an officer.

n Tonya Wetzel, 44, of the 2300 block of Wescott, was arrested at 8:58 p.m. Thursday on a charge of driving without a license.

n Kevin Boughers, 39, of the 19000 block of East Song Bird Road, was arrested at 11:11 p.m. Thursday on a charge of driving under the influence. A resident in the 2800 block of Broadway reported a motorist ran through a fence and struck a storage shed.

n Lloyd Finley, 25, of the 1100 block of 23rd Street, was arrested at 2:25 a.m. Friday on a Marion County warrant charging failure to appear.

Incident

A resident reported at 2:49 p.m. Thursday two large tree limbs in the roadway in the 300 block of South Second Street.

Thefts

A female caller told police at 7:55 a.m. Thursday her boyfriend had a pistol and wallet stolen from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of North Seventh Street.

n An employee of a business in the 4100 block of Broadway reported at 12:58 p.m. Thursday two females and a male stole a Northface coat and three pairs of boots. The subjects were last seen in a vehicle on Broadway.

n A man reported at 7 p.m. Thursday a theft from a residence in the 1000 block of South 23rd Street.

n A female occupant of an apartment at 4000 Willow Springs reported at 10:57 p.m. Thursday a bath room window was busted out and a 50-inch television was taken.

Arrest

Aime Shinstock, 27, Mt. Olive, was arrested at 8:36 p.m. Thursday on charges of driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams. Shinstock was involved in a one-vehicle accident at 6:25 p.m. on Interstate 64 at mile marker 64.

Accident

Deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover at 2:12 p.m. Thursday on North Boyd Lane at the Dix-Irvington Road. A subject was reportedly trapped. Litton’s Ambulance and Jefferson Fire Protection District responded.

Incident

Police received a call at 9:28 p.m. Thursday wanting the phone number for poison control. Logs state a youngster had eaten a glow stick.

Brandon Jean, 21, Ewing, was arrested at 12:49 p.m. Thursday on a charge of retail theft.
