Jennifer A. Moon, 40, of the 700 block of South 21st Street, was formally charged Monday with two counts of aggravated battery. Records state on March 31 the defendant kicked a peace officer during the performance of his duties, and caused bodily harm to someone by punching the victim in the head.

n Jason F. Stiefel, 33, of the 2200 block of Casey Avenue, was formally charged Monday with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of hypodermic needles/syringes, and unlawful possession of cannabis. Records state on March 31 the defendant had less than 15 grams of a substance containing MDPV, a controlled substance, he had needles/syringes in possession with the intent to inject a substance, and he had more than 2.5 grams of cannabis in his possession.

n Irene A. Winston, 59, Tamaroa, was formally charged Monday with failure to report an accident involving personal injury. Records state on March 31 the defendant left the scene of a personal injury accident at the Scheller Playhouse.

n Anthony Shepherd, 27, of the 700 block of Main Street, was formally charged Monday with disorderly conduct. Records state on March 8 the defendant ran out in front of a vehicle driven by a man on 27th Street, and he blocked the doorway of a service station.

n Freddie G. Harris, 40, of the 1200 block of Veterans Memorial Drive, was formally charged March 4 with unlawful possession of cannabis. Records state on Aug. 7 the defendant possessed more than 2.5 grams, but less than 10 grams, on cannabis.

n Donald Summerville, 52, of the 700 block of South 19th Street, was formally charged March 25 with resisting a peace officer. Records state on March 23 the defendant refused to take his hands out of his pocket and stiffened his hands while an officer attempted to handcuff the subject.

n John K. Trammell, 32, of the 800 block of South 22nd Street, was formally charged March 25 with domestic battery. Records state on March 23 the defendant punched a family female member in the eye.

Dispositions

Bianca Basile, 18, Hoyleton, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was sentenced two two years’ probation with special conditions and ordered to pay court fines.

n Levi A. Campbell, 18, of the 300 block of North Fourth Street, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of burglary. He was sentenced to five years to the Illinois Department of Corrections and ordered to make restitution.

n Devin D. Goodwin, 30, of the 600 block of South 23rd Street, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of meth precursor under 15 grams. He was sentenced to 30 months’ probation and ordered to pay court fines.

n Charles C. Monaghan, 53, of the 600 block of Harrison Street, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of aggravated battery. He was sentenced to 30 months’ conditional discharge, six months in jail, and to pay court fines.

n Timothy G. Noe, 36, of the 600 block of Harrison Street, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of domestic battery. He was sentenced to 30 months’ probation and ordered to pay court fines.

n Trenton O. Turner, 25, of the 1500 block of South Ninth Street, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a family member, a Class 2 felony. He was sentenced 48 months’ probation, six months’ in jail, and to pay court fines.

n Michael P. Woods, Keenes, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of theft under $500. He was sentenced to 24 months’ conditional discharge, six months’ in jail, and to pay court fines.

n Cierra M. Bell, 19, of the 1800 block of College Street, pleaded guilty March 28 to a charge of retail theft. She was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge and to pay court fines.

n Enjoli J. Boyd, Kansas City, Kan., pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of resisting a peace officer. The defendant was placed on conditional discharge for 18 months and to pay court fines.

n Christopher M. Cherry, 27, Mt. Vernon, pleaded guilty March 28 to a charge of theft under $500. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge, to make restitution and to pay court fines.

n Jennifer M. Gaskins, 27, DeSoto, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of domestic battery. She was sentenced to one year probation and to pay court fines.

n Eric R. Manthei, 22, Spicewood, Texas, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge, five days in jail, and to pay court fines.
