Jason Fairchild, 31, of the 18000 block of Old Centralia Lane, was arrested at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving on an expired license.
Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 14000 block of Illinois Highway 15 East.
Police report David M. Williams, 65, of Fairfield, failed to reduce speed on the wet roadway surface and struck a vehicle driven by Shannon R. Loker, 41, of Wayne City. Loker was slowed in traffic, the report stated.
Both drivers and a passenger in the Williams vehicle, Katherine Bunting-Williams, were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital.
Extraction equipment was used to free one of the victims, who was not identified in the police report.
Williams was ticketed on a charge of failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
An employee of First Financial Bank in the 900 block of Main Street requested at 2:04 p.m. Tuesday to make a theft report.
A man reported at 3 p.m. Tuesday he was the victim of a strong-armed robbery at the intersection of Ninth Street and Wescott. The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, police logs state.

Fire personnel responded to a report of a fire at 4:18 p.m. Tuesday in the 3400 block of Nature Trail. There was no fire. Police reports indicate a wire shorted out on an outside air conditioner.
Jon Hartman, 35, Sesser, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant charging failure to appear.
