A woman reported at 2:19 p.m. Thursday her purse and wallet were stolen from a business in the 200 block of Main Street.
n A woman reported at 5:41 p.m. Thursday a tablet was stolen from a residence in the 500 block of South 24th Street.
A woman reported at 12:49 a.m. Friday she returned to her apartment in the 1400 block of Salem Road to find it burglarized.
A two-vehicle accident at 12:23 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 42nd Street and Veterans Memorial Drive resulted in the transport of three people to nearby Good Samaritan Hospital.
Police report Dennis Edgell of West Virginia was westbound on Veterans and failed to stop at the intersection colliding with a southbound vehicle driven by Martha Newell of Waltonville. The impact of the collision knocked the Newell vehicle off the roadway and into a deep ditch off Veterans Memorial. Newell and two granddaughters in her vehicle were taken to the hospital, although their injuries were considered minor. Edgell, who was not injured, was ticketed on a charge of failure to stop at a traffic control device.
Gerald Bizaillion, 18, of the 900 block of South 24th Street, turned himself in to authorities at 7:46 a.m. Thursday on a warrant charging failure to appear.
