Arrests

Kegan R. Graham, 21, of the 500 block of South 22nd Street, was arrested at 1:18 a.m. Thursday on charges of domestic battery and knowingly damaging property more than $300.

Incidents

A woman reported at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday hearing possible gunshots in the area of 1000 Pace Avenue.

n A woman told police at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday her purse was stolen from her car while parked in the 2800 block of Cherry Drive.

n A woman told police at 4:30 p.m. her juvenile son had been battered by another juvenile in the area of the 1200 block of South 23rd Street.

n A woman told police at 8:54 p.m. Wednesday a game system was stolen from a residence in the 900 block of South Sixth Street.

n A woman reported at 8:55 p.m. Wednesday she was battered by a man known to her in the 500 block of South 22nd Street.

n A woman told police at 9:48 p.m. Wednesday someone threw a rock through a window at a residence in the 700 block of South 20th Street.

n A man told police at 1:34 a.m. Thursday someone shot toward a residence in the 1500 block of South Ninth Street.

Arrests

William H. Wynn, 67, DuQuoin, was arrested at 4 p.m. Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful restraint, and resisting arrest.

n Ashleigh A. Weaver, 27, of the 1200 block of South 23rd Street, was arrested at 8:38 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of meth precursor more than 15 grams.

n Lee Ann Connaway, 17, Texico, was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Thursday on charges of domestic battery and mob action/violence.

Accident

A man reported at 2:10 a.m. Thursday his son had hit a horse on Illinois 142, west of Log Cabin Lane in Opdyke. The horse was killed and the vehicle driven by Corey Anderson, McLeansboro, was totaled. Anderson was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Health Center for treatment of injuries, according to police logs.

Thefts

An employee of Jam Joey’s, Dix, reported a drive off of $64.10 at 10:04 a.m. Wednesday.
