n A woman told police at 10:01 a.m. Wednesday that a man known to her stole $50 and her medication from her motel room in the 700 block of South 10th Street.

n A woman reported at midnight Wednesday that checks were stolen from her residence in the 200 block of North 12th Street and someone had forged her name to purchase items.

n A woman told police at 4:48 p.m. Wednesday a gas-powered leaf blower had been stolen from her front porch in the 200 block of North 4th Street.

n A subject reported at 9:16 p.m. Wednesday someone stole a bottle of vodka from a business in the 200 block of Main Street and fled the scene.

n A neighbor told police at 9:44 p.m. Wednesday a bicycle was stolen from a yard in the 900 block of Airport Road.


n A man told police at 1:22 p.m. Wednesday his residence in the 3100 block of Jamison Boulevard had been burglarized.

n A woman reported at 4 p.m. Wednesday a man had battered her and broke her cell phone in the 900 block of South 42nd Street. The victim refused medical treatment.

n A female resident told police at 7:03 p.m. Wednesday she found a bullet hole in her bedroom window in the 1000 block of South 25th Street.

n A male juvenile was taken into custody following a report at 8:49 p.m. Wednesday of a domestic dispute in the 400 block of South Fourth Street.

n An officer reported at 9:12 p.m. Wednesday hearing five to six fireworks or gunshots at the intersection of 23rd and College streets.

n A resident reported at 8:28 a.m. Thursday hearing a gunshot or firework in the 1700 block of South 15th Street.


n A two-car crash with injuries was reported at 8:48 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Illinois Route 37 and Olin Street. The injured subject refused medical treatment.

n A subjected reported at 2:02 p.m. Thursday that an undetermined amount of fuel was taken from trucks in the 9200 block of East Sahara Road.


n The Jefferson County Fire Protection District responded to a report at 6:47 p.m. Wednesday of a vehicle on fire on North I-57 at mile post 103.
