Arrests

Billy Bob Beck, 31, of the 1700 block of Main Street, was arrested at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday on charges of aggravated battery and mob action.

n Trinity R. Albritton, 20, of the 300 block of Harrison Street, was arrested at 11:37 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant charging failure to appear.

n Trazell L. Sanders, 21, of the 400 block of South 17th Street, was arrested at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of residential burglary.

n Laura L. Beneway, 48, Nason, was arrested at 7:55 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of retail theft.

n John R. Verdichizzi, 51, Nason, was arrested at 8:39 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of retail theft.

Incidents

A man reported at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday someone threw a rock at his residence in the 1200 block of South 22nd Street.

n An employee of the United Methodist Children’s Home reported at 1:05 a.m. Thursday a male DCFS ward was missing.

Thefts

A man told police at 10:27 a.m. Wednesday someone stole a gun from his residence in the 400 block of South 15th Street while the vicim was in the hospital.

n A woman told police at 2:46 p.m. Wednesday her residence in the 1100 block of South 23rd Street was burglarized while the victim was incarcerated.

n An employee of Kmart requested an officer at 7:08 p.m. Wednesday after a female taken into custody for alleged shoplifting became unruly.

Accidents

Deputies responded to a report of a car on its side at 12:32 p.m. Thursday on Woodlawn Lane at Vassar. A male subject was bleeding on the arm, but did not require transport to a hospital, according to police logs.
