Charges filed:

Dustin Wooters, 21, Centralia, was formally charged Tuesday with retail theft and obstructing a peace officer. The charges allege on Aug. 23 Wooters took clothing from Hibbett’s Sports and during the execution of his arrest provided false identification to a Mt. Vernon Police Department officer.

n David D. Tyson, 25, of the 1100 block of Jones, was formally charged Tuesday with unlawful failure of a sex offender to report. The charge alleges on April 11 the defendant failed to register with the MVPD three days after changing addresses.

n Brian M. Wagner, 31, of the 900 block of Blueberry Hill, was formally charged Tuesday with three counts of domestic battery enhanced and aggravated domestic battery. The charges allege on March 3 the defendant struck his girlfriend in the arm, causing it to fracture. On March 15, he struck his girlfriend in the face, and in another incident, he allegedly threw the victim down stairs. The enhanced attachment was due to the defendant being formerly convicted of domestic battery charges in Jefferson County.

n Michael E. Tiemann, 26, Richview, was formally charged Tuesday with theft over $500. The charge alleges on April 11 the defendant took a laptop computer from a woman, permanently depriving the victim of use of the property.

n Junior Vaughan, 28, of the 600 block of Airport Road, was formally charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of meth and unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe/needle. The charges allege on Wednesday the defendant had less than 5 grams of a substance containing meth in his possession and he had a syringe for the purpose of subcutaneous injection.

n John A. Fowler, 38, of the 1200 block of South 26th Street, was formally charged Wednesday with three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. The charges allege on Sunday the defendant had less than 15 grams of a substance containing oxycodone, he possessed less than 15 grams of a substance containing methadone and he had less than 15 grams of a substance containing hydrocodone — all controlled substances.

n Terrance Williams, 22 of the 900 block of South 12th Street, was formally charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and unlawful possession of cannabis. The charges allege the defendant was in possession of a weapon on April 10 and he had in his possession not more than 2.5 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

Dispositions:

Linda M. Bigley, 31, Ina, pleaded guilty Monday to charges of meth manufacturing more than 900 grams, aggravated meth manufacturing and possession of meth manufacturing materials. She was sentenced to 30 months of probation to run concurrently on all charges.

n Edward C. Haught, 28, of the 1400 block of Salem Road, pleaded guilty Tuesday to an amended charge of battery. He was placed on conditional discharge for two years.

n George A. Fly, 58, of the 200 block of South 15th Street, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to seven years to the Department of Corrections.

n Christopher Campbell, 24, of the 1600 block of Pace Avenue, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to two years of conditional discharge.

n Anthony J. Knowles, 35, of the 1300 block of Casey Avenue, pleaded guilty April 10 to a charge of domestic battery. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail and two years of probation.

n Iman Stallworth, 28, of the 1100 block of Gaskins, pleaded guilty April 10 to a charge of domestic battery. He was sentenced to two years of probation.

n Tamara D. Clinton, 19, of the 2000 block of Richview Road, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of battery. She was sentenced to 18 months of court supervision.

n Jackie M. Spell, 21, Bluford, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of consumption of liquor by a minor. She was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge.

n Michael P. Tyler, 55, Woodlawn, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to one year of court supervision and take a driver’s education course.
