Charges filed:

Gerrodo D. Forest, 18, of the 900 block of South 13th Street, was formally charged April 17 with residential burglary. The charge states on April 15 the defendant entered a building in the 900 block of Oakland Avenue with the intent to commit a theft. On Monday, a petition to revoke probation was filed. Forest was also charged on April 17 with retail theft. On Jan. 13, the defendant took a jar of Africa’s Best Super Glo from Family Dollar Store.

n James T. Hicks, 58, Waltonville, was formally charged April 17 with unlawful possession of cannabis sativa plants and unlawful possession of cannabis. The charges allege on Jan. 24 the defendant possessed more than 20, but not more than 50 sativa plants; and he possessed more than 30 grams, but not more than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

n Wade A. Wyciskalla, 19, Akin, was formally charged Monday with aggravated battery and criminal trespass to land. The charges allege on April 17 the defendant grabbed a man at the Scheller Playhouse and tried to wrestle him to the ground; the trespassing charge alleges the defendant failed to leave the Playhouse after receiving notice from the manager he was banned from the property.

n Michael R. Boling, 32, of the 1500 block of Herbert, was formally charged Monday with unlawful possession of meth and possession of a hypodermic needle/syringe. The charges allege on April 19 the defendant had less than 5 grams of a substance containing meth; and he had a syringe for subcutaneous injection purposes.

n Cody W. McLearin, 21, Ina, was formally charged Wednesday with burglary. The charge alleges on March 11 the defendant entered a building at the Mt. Vernon Game Farm with the intent to commit a theft.

n Torron E. Davis, 23, Indianapolis, was formally charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of cannabis. The charge alleges on Monday the defendant had not more than 2.5 grams of a substance containing cannabis in possession.

n Larry A. King, 34, of the 700 block of South 19th Street, was formally charged Thursday with domestic battery and assault. The charges allege on April 12 the defendant caused bodily harm to his live-in girlfriend in that he struck the victim in the head with a fist and pushed the victim down a set of porch steps. The assault charge alleges the defendant lunged at the victim with a knife placing her in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery.

Dispositions:

Francis D. Brown, 20, Ballwin, Mo., pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to one year of court supervision.

n Timothy G. Noe, 37, of the 1000 block of South 21st Street, pleaded guilty April 17 to a charge of theft of labor services. He was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge and credited with 14 days served.

n Darryl M. Long, 27, of the 800 block of South 20th Street, pleaded guilty April 17 to a charge of resisting a peace officer. He was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge and given credit for seven days served.
