Arrests

Nikko Branch, 23, of the 1000 block of South 25th Street, was arrested at 10:04 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.

n Georgia Jenkins, 49, McLeansboro, was arrested at 11:36 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.

n Ashton Harper, 19, of the 1000 block of South 23rd Street, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of driving with no valid license.

Accident

A chain reaction three-vehicle accident at 4:14 p.m. in the 900 block of South 42nd Street Tuesday resulted in injuries to all three drivers involved.

All three vehicles were southbound.

According to police reports, Nancy Shaver, 65, of Mt. Vernon was attempting to turn left into a business parking lot when she was struck from behind by a car driven by Joshua P. Wisneski, 25, of DuBois. Wisneski was struck from behind by a car driven by Taylor J. Sprehe, 22, of Woodlawn.

Sprehe was ticketed on charges of failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operation of an uninsured vehicle. Wisneski was also issued a citation for driving without insurance.

All three drivers were taken to Good Samaritan Regional Health Center, according to the report.

Thefts

A man reported at 9:27 a.m. Tuesday his wallet was stolen from a residence in the 2300 block of Perkins Avenue.

n A woman reported at 7:58 p.m. Tuesday her son’s bicycle was taken from a residence on 12th Street.

Incidents

A man told police at 3:58 p.m. Tuesday a condo in the 100 block of Halia Crest owned by his sister had been burglarized.

n A woman told police at 7:26 p.m. Tuesday she had allegedly been battered by a female subject at the intersection of 22nd Street and Conger Avenue.

Arrest

Clint Coffey, 35, Richview, turned himself in to authorities at 10:14 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant charging theft under $500.
