John Wilkerson, 56, Johnston City, was arrested at 9:37 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.
n James Cornett, 32, Sidney, Ohio, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of violation of bail bond.
A three-vehicle accident shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 12th and Main streets resulted in an injury to a Woodlawn woman.
According to a police report, vehicles driven by Georgia Tarpley of Woodlawn and Russell W. Grant of Mt. Vernon were both westbound on Main.
A northbound vehicle on 12th Street operated by Helen Henderson of Marion failed to stop and was struck by Tarpley’s vehicle. Henderson’s vehicle then clipped the driver’s side of the Grant vehicle.
The impact of the crash caused Tarpley’s vehicle to overturn on its driver’s side. She was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital after being unconscious upon the officer’s arrival.
Henderson and a passenger in her vehicle, Dennis Short of Mt. Vernon, had to be cut of their vehicle and refused medical treatment. Henderson was ticketed on a charge of disobeying a traffic control device.
An employee of Action Pawn in the 400 block of Main Street, reported at 11:44 a.m. Wednesday a theft occurring at the business on Saturday.
n A man reported at 11:37 p.m. Wednesday a gun was taken from a residence in the 1600 block of Pace Avenue while the occupant was sleeping.
A man reported at 1:22 p.m. Wednesday his cousin was allegedly battered by a girlfriend. The report was made from the 1700 block of South 12th Street.
n A caller told police at 6:43 p.m. Wednesday a man and woman were in a physical dispute in the 1100 block of South 22nd Street.
Stephanie Laughhunn, 28, Richview, was arrested at 12:33 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of violation of probation.
A woman reported at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday someone shot and killed her cat with a BB or pellet gun in the 16000 block of North Illinois Highway 37.
