Charges filed:

Chase R. Draper, 23, of the 1200 block of North 10th Street, was formally charged May 16 with unlawful possession of cannabis. The charge states on May 16 the defendant possessed not more than 2.5 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

n Dorothy J. Carrano, 35, Woodlawn, was formally charged on May 16 with domestic battery and battery. The charges state on May 15 the defendant struggled with a daughter, knocking her to the ground and scratching her face and knee; she also struck a man in the face with her fist.

n Patrick S. Newell, 45, Waltonville, was formally charged on May 20 with battery and domestic battery. The charges allege the defendant threw his girlfriend to the ground and repeatedly struck the victim about the face.

n Brandon L. Stallings, 29, West Frankfort, was formally charged May 21 with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The charge alleges on May 20 the defendant possessed a metal pipe with the intent to inhale cannabis.

n George W. Davis, 61, of the 900 block of Wescott, was formally charged May 21 with battery. The charge alleges the defendant on April 22 grabbed a woman about the body.

n Champagne L. Turner, 28, of the 500 block of South 20th Street, was formally charged May 21 with criminal trespass to state land. The charges alleges on April 23 the defendant entered Jefferson County Housing Authority property after being banned from the premises.

n Antonio M. Rayford, 41, of the 1700 block of South 15th Street, was formally charged May 21 with violation of an order of protection. The charge alleges the defendant was located in the 2200 block of Conger Avenue, a protected address under the order issued on Nov. 2, 2012.

n Clinton E. Welch, 31, of the 1100 block of Wilshire Drive, was formally charged on May 21 with aggravated driving under the influence and enhanced driving while license revoked. The charges allege on May 20 the defendant was operating a motor vehicle on South 21st Street while under the influence and after violating provisions of the statute four previous times. He is also accused of driving on a revoked or suspended license after being convicted of the charge on two previous occasions.

n Judson R. Connaway, 26, Texico, was formally charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. The charge alleges on Sunday the defendant had less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine in his possession.

n Larry D. Haygood, 45, Fairfield, was formally charged Tuesday with criminal damage to property and resisting a peace officer. The charges allege on May 23 the defendant damaged property at Crossroads Community Hospital, causing more than $300, but less than $10,000 in damages; and the defendant pulled away and refused to walk when a MVPD officer placed the defendant in handcuffs.

n Aaron D. Gladney, 28, of the 1700 block of South 12th Street, was formally charged Tuesday with resisting a peace officer. The charges alleges the defendant ignored repeated commands to stop and tried to leave the scene of a police investigation.

n Antonio T. Laurence, 23, of the 2200 block of Logan Street, was formally charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of cannabis. The charge alleges the defendant on May 25 had not more than 2.5 grams of a substance containing cannabis in his possession.

n Aaron X. Collins, 24, of the 1400 block of White Avenue, was formally charged Wednesday with unlawful possession with intent to deliver cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis. The charges allege on May 25 the defendant had more than 2.5 grams, but less than 10 grams of a substance containing cannabis, with the intent to deliver the product.

Dispositions:

Eliud Lisboa, 20, of the 1600 block of Isabella, pleaded guilty May 22 to a charge of retail theft. The defendant was placed on 18 months of court supervision.

n Tara Lewis, 38, of the 4100 block of Willow Springs, pleaded guilty May 23 to a charge of criminal trespass to a building. She was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge.

n Prosecutors dismissed a charge of theft less than $500 against Andrew J. Lenington, 21, of Ewing, on May 22.

n Katelynn E. Garner, 28, Fairfield, pleaded guilty May 23 to a charge of retail theft. She was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge.

n Cody L. Hicks, 20, Bluford, pleaded guilty May 23 to a charge of obstructing identification. He was sentenced to 48 hours in jail and 18 months of conditional discharge.

n Nicole D. Lisman, 20, Fairfield, pleaded guilty May 23 to a charge of retail theft. She was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge.

n Heather A. Phillips, 25, of the 900 block of South Sixth Street, pleaded guilty May 23 to a charge of resisting a peace officer. She was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge and 100 hours of public service.

n Natasha Wilkin, 20, Mt. Erie, pleaded guilty May 23 to a charge of retail theft. She was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge.
