n Antonio M. Rayford, 41, of the 1700 block of South 15th Street, was formally charged May 21 with violation of an order of protection. The charge alleges the defendant was located in the 2200 block of Conger Avenue, a protected address under the order issued on Nov. 2, 2012.
n Clinton E. Welch, 31, of the 1100 block of Wilshire Drive, was formally charged on May 21 with aggravated driving under the influence and enhanced driving while license revoked. The charges allege on May 20 the defendant was operating a motor vehicle on South 21st Street while under the influence and after violating provisions of the statute four previous times. He is also accused of driving on a revoked or suspended license after being convicted of the charge on two previous occasions.
n Judson R. Connaway, 26, Texico, was formally charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. The charge alleges on Sunday the defendant had less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine in his possession.
n Larry D. Haygood, 45, Fairfield, was formally charged Tuesday with criminal damage to property and resisting a peace officer. The charges allege on May 23 the defendant damaged property at Crossroads Community Hospital, causing more than $300, but less than $10,000 in damages; and the defendant pulled away and refused to walk when a MVPD officer placed the defendant in handcuffs.
n Aaron D. Gladney, 28, of the 1700 block of South 12th Street, was formally charged Tuesday with resisting a peace officer. The charges alleges the defendant ignored repeated commands to stop and tried to leave the scene of a police investigation.
n Antonio T. Laurence, 23, of the 2200 block of Logan Street, was formally charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of cannabis. The charge alleges the defendant on May 25 had not more than 2.5 grams of a substance containing cannabis in his possession.
n Aaron X. Collins, 24, of the 1400 block of White Avenue, was formally charged Wednesday with unlawful possession with intent to deliver cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis. The charges allege on May 25 the defendant had more than 2.5 grams, but less than 10 grams of a substance containing cannabis, with the intent to deliver the product.
