Arrests

Robert Tate, 30, of the 1100 block of South 21st Street, was arrested at 2:32 p.m. Thursday on charges of driving while license suspended/revoked, fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer, possession of meth less than 5 grams and possession of meth precursor without a prescription.

n Robert Carrano, 41, of the 400 block of South 24th Street, was arrested at 2:29 a.m. Friday on a charge of domestic battery.

Theft

A clerk at the Circle K store on Potomac Boulevard reported a drive-off of $12.01 at 3:23 p.m. Thursday.

Incidents

A male subject reported at 11:07 a.m. Thursday he was allegedly battered by his girlfriend’s grandmother at a residence on Perkins Avenue. The victim refused medical treatment.

n A woman requested at 12:47 p.m. Thursday to file a report regarding someone putting sugar in her vehicle’s gas tank while parked at Wal-Mart.

n A male subject told police at 3:03 p.m. Thursday he has property missing from a residence on Highland Drive.

n A man requested an officer to the city park at 8:16 p.m. Thursday, stating a female struck two other females in the man’s group. The offending party was apprehended by police and charged with battery.

n A male subject requested an officer to K-mart at 8:56 p.m. Thursday, stating a female subject was attacked.

n A woman reported from Crossroads Community Hospital at 9:17 p.m. Thursday her son was struck by a vehicle in the 300 block of South 12th Street while riding a bicycle. The offending motorist left the scene, police logs state.
