Arrests

Rachel N. Garcia, 21, of the 3100 block of Blackberry, was arrested at 7:12 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of contempt of court.

n Jesse A. Johnson, 18, of the 400 block of Jordan Avenue, was arrested at 3:43 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant charging violation of bail bond.

n Richard W. Hanson, 34, of the 2400 block of Cherry Street, was arrested at 8:52 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of obstruction/resisting arrest. He was also placed on hold for Illinois Department of Corrections.

Incidents

A man told police at 7:49 a.m. Tuesday his residence in the 500 block of South 22nd Street had been burglarized.

n A man told police at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday two prescription bottles were taken from his vehicle while parked at a business in the 300 block of South 12th Street.

n A male juvenile was taken into custody at 5:42 p.m. Tuesday following a report of an alleged battery to another juvenile in the 100 block of Aspen Drive.

n A male occupant of a residence in the 1000 block of South 25th Street reported at 5:46 p.m. Tuesday a front and back door of the residence had been kicked in, the residence had been trashed, and some items were taken.

n A man entered a business in the 800 block of South 19th Street at 11:12 p.m. Tuesday alleging he had been battered in the area. The man was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Health Center for treatment.

Incidents

A woman reported at 11:02 p.m. Tuesday she was the victim of an alleged battery by a man she knows. The man took her cell phone and car keys, and stole a vehicle, which was later involved in an accident in Franklin County, according to jail logs.

n A semi driver told police at 3:58 a.m. Wednesday his vehicle had been struck by an unknown motorist while parked at Love’s Truck Stop in Ina.
