An employee of Crossroads Community Hospital reported at 1:07 p.m. Monday a woman came to the emergency room reporting she had been jumped by five females on Saturday.
n An employee of the United Methodist Children’s Home reported at 3:11 p.m. Monday a client allegedly was breaking things, flung fuel on staff members and has a shovel wielding it like a weapon. The male juvenile was taken into custody.
n A clerk at the Circle K station in the 2700 block of Broadway told police at 7:35 p.m. Monday a man came into the business reporting he was being held at gunpoint. Police made contact with a vehicle in the 500 block of South 15th Street in relation to the incident but no arrests made.
n A woman told police at 9:19 p.m. Monday her residence in the 4100 block of Willow Springs had been broken into.
n A woman reported at 9:49 p.m. Monday she believed someone was possibly trying to get into a garage in the 1900 block of Lake Street. Police secured the residence.
A woman watching a landlord’s residence in the 1000 block of Jones Street reported seeing a male allegedly stealing items from a mail box.
n Loss prevention personnel at Kmart reported at 4:54 p.m. Monday a female juvenile was in custody for alleged shoplifting.

An unidentified man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 9:38 p.m. Monday in the southbound lanes of Interstate 57 between the 83 and 84 mile post markers. Police received a report of a vehicle in a ditch and a subject with a possible head injury. The man was taken from the scene by an air medical team, according to a spokesman from the sheriff’s office.
An employee of Petco Petroleum received a second hand report before 3:40 p.m. Monday that two males took an electric motor from an oil pump in the Prairie View Estates area.
