Arrests

Melissa Keip, 31, of the 100 block of East Opdyke Avenue, was arrested at 4:16 p.m. Monday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Patrick Dudley, 53, of the 3200 block of Jamison Boulevard, was arrested at 12:29 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

n Elizabeth Spangler, 24, of Woodlawn, was arrested at 1:09 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Ashley Mick, 32, of Dix, was arrested at 3:33 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of burglary.

n Jeremy Wagner, 33, of the 18600 block of North Hails Lane, was arrested at 4:07 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Richard Mollet, 43, of the 400 block of South 20th Street, was arrested at 6:48 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of disorderly conduct.

n Delmay Hawkins, 45, of the 1400 block of White Street, was arrested at 3:51 a.m. Wednesday on charges of driving on a suspended/revoked license and possession of a controlled substance. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office also filed a charge of aggravated battery against Hawkins after he allegedly choked a woman in Dix.

n Christopher Campbell, 24, of the 1600 block of Pace Avenue, was arrested at 3:53 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of delivery/possession of a narcotic.

Incidents

A man told police at 9:02 a.m. Monday a window was broken at a residence in the 900 block of South 12th Street.

n A man reported to police at 8:41 a.m. Tuesday a possible burglary had occurred at a residence in the 900 block of South 12th Street.

n A man requested to make a police report at 9:12 a.m. Tuesday about his mailbox being damaged in the 300 block of Stinson Drive.

n A battery was reported at 2:53 p.m. Tuesday at a school in the 300 block of South Seventh Street. The police logs provided no specific information on the incident.

n A male caller asked for a well-being check at 6:18 p.m. Tuesday on his three juvenile children. He made the request after receiving a text message from one of his kids claiming the child’s mother had hurt him. The incident took place in the 1500 block of Harlan Road.

n A man told police at 12:22 a.m. Wednesday his wife heard possible gunshots south of Sassafras Lane. No injuries were reported.

n The Illinois Department of Corrections made a request at 2:31 a.m. Wednesday for officers to check on a parolee allegedly using drugs at an apartment in the 1600 block of Pace Avenue.

Thefts

A female caller informed police at 8:18 a.m. Monday her purse was stolen while she was at a business in the 100 block of Davidson Avenue.

n A man told authorities at 8:25 a.m. Monday some of his property was stolen in the 1100 block of Conger Avenue. The police logs did not provide information on what items were stolen.

n A general manager told police at 9:18 a.m. Monday a male guest at a motel was accusing staff of stealing his wallet. The incident took place in the 400 block of South 44th Street.

n A manager reported an internal theft to police at 10:44 a.m. Monday at a business in the 2800 block of Broadway. The theft had reportedly been captured on surveillance video, according to police logs.

n A woman told police at 3:24 p.m. Tuesday her parents are missing items from their residence in the 1400 block of South 13th Street.

n A female caller informed police at 8:04 p.m. Tuesday her TV was stolen overnight in the 1000 block of South 22nd Street.

Arrests

Timothy Craig, 34, of Benton, was arrested at 2:02 p.m. Monday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Melissa Mount, 34, of the 16500 block of East Fairfield Road, was arrested at 10:49 p.m. Monday on a charge of domestic battery.

n Adam Donoho, 33, of Bluford, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of unlawful possession of a certificate of title without complete assignment.

n James Bailey, 58, of Homewood, was arrested at 4:46 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

Incidents

A man told police at 4:41 p.m. Monday his residence in the 16400 block of East Robin Road was broken into and some computer tablets were stolen.

n A caller requested extra patrol at 8:33 a.m. Wednesday after six mailboxes were vandalized the previous evening in the vicinity of Program Lane and Lamplight Lane in Opdyke.

Theft

A woman reported to police at 9:38 a.m. Monday some money from her bank account had been taken without her permission. The woman lives in the 8800 block of North Matisse Lane.

Accident

Authorities responded to a single-vehicle accident with possible injuries at 5:25 a.m. Monday at the intersection of North Illinois Highway 37 and Goshen Meadows Road. The police logs indicate a white pickup truck was in a ditch and someone was still inside the vehicle. However, it’s unknown whether the occupant was hurt, the logs state. The accident report was not available and police have not named the occupant in question.

Daniel Brown, 20, of Ballwin, Mo., was arrested at 2:41 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving under the influence of a drug.

n Joshua Bliven, 19, of Quincy, was arrested at 5:10 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of consumption of liquor by a minor.

n Melissa Edwards-Murry, 46, of Chicago, was arrested at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of violation of bail bond.
