Incidents

A caller reported to police at 3:34 p.m. Wednesday a bullet hole was found at a residence in the 1200 block of South 12th Street.

n A subject told police at 5:41 p.m. Wednesday a cell phone was stolen from a vehicle parked on campus at a school in the 300 block of South Seventh Street.

n A female subject told police at 3:45 a.m. Thursday she was assaulted by another female in the 2000 block of Richview Road.

n A woman informed authorities at 5:50 p.m. Thursday she was battered by her male co-driver in the 4600 block of Broadway. Both the victim and the alleged perpetrator are truck drivers, the police logs state.

Theft

A clerk reported a drive-off to police at 12:50 p.m. Thursday at a gas station in the 1800 block of South 10th Street. The drive-off was in the amount of $69.08. The offender later called and said the theft was an accident. The issue has been resolved without the need for a formal report, the police logs state.

Incidents

A woman reported to police at 5:02 p.m. Thursday hearing several gunshots north of her residence in the 12800 block of East Sumpter Road. No injuries were reported.

n A woman told police at 5:41 a.m. Thursday her son was in a fight with several individuals and was shot at. The incident took place on East Highline Road. No injuries were reported.

Accident

Authorities responded to a traffic crash with possible injuries at 11:49 p.m. Wednesday on Illinois Highway 37 just north of Bonnie. The occupants involved refused medical treatment, according to the police logs. The accident report was not available and police have not named the occupants.
