Arrests

Sydni Hooper, 22, Davenport, Iowa, was arrested at 9:32 a.m. Monday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.

n Eric Moore, 25, Centralia, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. Monday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Justin Stanley, 25, of the 1400 block of South 34th Street, was arrested at 2:26 a.m. Tuesday on two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Incidents

A woman told police at 9:03 a.m. Monday her daughter was allegedly battered by two juveniles at the alternative school in the 2300 block of Benton Road.

n A caller told police at 11:43 a.m. Monday someone threw ketchup on a vehicle in the 3400 block of Veterans Memorial Drive.

Thefts

A woman reported at 9:47 a.m. Monday a Kindle was taken from the laundry room in the 4300 block of Rose Lane.

n The manager of the Hardee’s west location in the 4300 block of Broadway requested an officer at 9:50 a.m. Monday in reference to an internal theft.

n A maintenance employee for College Oaks reported at 12:39 p.m. Monday a stove was taken from a residence in the 400 block of South 15th Street.

n The manager of the Family Dollar store on South 10th Street reported at 2:42 p.m. Monday a male subject left the store without paying for a hair product item.

n The manager of the Casey’s South 42nd Street location reported at 2:50 p.m. Monday the store received four bad checks, according to a bank, from a male subject within a 24-hour period on Saturday.

Arrests

Cynthia Hamilton, 56, of the 2500 block of Jones Street, was arrested at 4:25 p.m. Monday on charges of residential burglary and theft between $500 and $10,000.

n Timothy Howe, 54, Macedonia, was arrested at 4:42 p.m. Monday on a charge of violation of bail bond.
